Seriously though, now that I live in Florida, hurricanes are more interesting. I'm pretty sure we will be stressing out hurricanes for a long time. Most experts seem to think Katrina was not a worst case scenario either.

I've heard it runs in cycles. Every 40 or so years for maybe 5 years we get a string of really horrible hurricanes. The last time it happened was in the 60's, so I guess were in the midst of it now.

How exactly would global warming cause hurricanes? Hotter temperatures, but drastic changes in weather after such short, small changes? Not likely.

Hurricanes are strange, minor differences in temperature can alter them drastically.

doesnt make much sense considering the extremely varied and inconsistent temperatures our Earth can have even not considering global warming.

I havent seen any science support it.
