I think i'm trying too hard to find a deeper meaning in the message...I'm thinking that the five people there are society, and the smile sign was sterotype in a form. Whenever the person would not follow what was excepted of him(sterotype) he would get stabbed, usually in the back. After enough times that the person steps out of line(and gets stabbed) the person is just another dead soul. Afterwards Society(masked as who they really are) looks for someone else to screw. I'm pretty sure i'm wrong in the message...oh well.. If anyone has anymore ideas about what the real message is, would you mind sharing?

heh, I definately thought the same thing. If you notice the smile people, they are portrayed as machines (so they can't think for themselves) and they have current stupid fads all over their shirts. That chick has "sexy bitch" and some guy has football numbers etc.

Enlighten me then oh great one...that's how I interpreted the flash. It was clearly someone's opinion on the whole prep/jock scene. Here's evidence...

1. They are all wearing popular clothing. The "sexy bitch" shirt seems to be a reference to Abercrombie. One of the people is wearing a Nike shirt.

2. Why would they want this random kid to smile? The way I interpreted it was that these people are the popular majority, and that they wanted the person being tortured to conform to the masses. It's quite simple really.

If anyone else saw this differently, please feel free to add your opinion.

First of all this is my all time favorite flash. I have posted tons of reviews for it

and tons of suggestions for the meaning of it. I do agree that it represents

society. Like was past said the "sexy bitch" t-shirt. The 'judges' are

representing society and how if we don't do exactly what they say. Give in

the exactly what they want us to. Act like they do. We will be "shuned".

So they want him to smile just like they do. He chooses not to and they....

persuade him to smile. After numerous times of not smiling... he gives it

a try. He chooses not to. And at that point in the flash you can see one of

the judges smile fade a little.... as if she has a little remorse. Another part

that seems to have some meaning is when you see that all the judges are

wearing masks and are robots. They are all the same... or at least act like it.
Whoa, that just cut into me deep.

I believe that this part shows how even after commiting such a horrible crime

to another person the judges can go on with there lives without a care in the

world to the person they just shot down. Just like a serial killer... they can kill

Number one, I did not say that I had a degree. I said that I am a communications major at a University.

Number two, I don't see the world in just black or white. I like to think that I am a free minded person. I am sorry if you feel differently.
