Here is the final version of the George Bush Soundboard that was used in the contest. Credit to Citronic27 for the board.

For best view, download the soundboard and open it on your desktop to get the full screen effect. The buttons will be much easier to read. Post your calls on the soundboard if you make calls.

Pretty good, some of the audio wasnt so good but I like these kind of soundboards (organized, lots of different routes to go on a prank call). thanks

Cheers for the recognition, Jerky. I just PM'ed you asking if it'd been uploaded and if any calls had been made.

Good stuff :)

I assumed that becasue we were having a proper ebaumsworld prank contest that the soundboard would actually appear on the main ebaumsworld site? IMO It isn't quite up there with Citronic's best work, but still a very good soundboard indeed and by far the best George bush soundboard there is

can you suggest it goes on the main site Jerky?

Oh and thanks for Premium membership Jerky - it's working now. In case you're wondering why i haven't posted in the Premium forum it's becasue I think I prefer this one TBH :) , (I'll be sure to use all the other features though).

I can suggest it, but there might be a couple things that I want added to it before it spreads around. I just PMed Citronic about it.

Well I'd say the Tom Hanks sb is the best - the ultimate way to judge the quality of a soundboard is how many funny pranks it produces - and that's produced loads of them. Plus the soundboard is clear to read and well organised and there's a great selection of sounds.

There's a couple of things i don't like about the George Bush one - firstly having to press the start button is annoying especially when you're trying to prank a telemarketer and already have enough buttons to press - i.e. lauch sb, launching recording software, press record, put phone into speakerphone mode, set computer volume etc - it adds another unessecary step onto the process.

Another pretty basic mistake is the white/grey colour scheme - there just isn't enough contrast especially if the sun is shining. Having to click each time to get rid of the images is kinda frustrating too - maybe a background image would be better?

Citronic, great soundboard compared to the other G.W ones.
Thanks. What's your next project?

In terms of the calls it produces I think it has the potential to be up there with the best. :blahblah: :blahblah: :D

I quite liked the one I did for Matt Damon as well, I lost the files though and I've never been able to source it online.

Thanks. What's your next project?Yeah, that was definitely the aim to create a board that would beat the shit out of the other GWB boards around, mind you that wasn't difficult. I don't know if I have a next project, the only times I've really made boards is when an idea just comes to me. The Bush one being the exception - Jerky asked me to do it.

It has been several months since I did finish the GWB one, so I guess I'm overdue. So if you've an idea I like, I might give it a whirl.

Are you going to put the finishing touches on the GWB board?

Are you going to put the finishing touches on the GWB board?I may do if I find time this week. Colour changes and the like, I don't think I can be assed with. It'll take too long and it's perfectly useable now, if a tad bland. What smaller tasks need addressing, remind me :)

:)Many thanks, N00N00. Much appreciated

*Hunts for 'thumbs up' emoticon* Damn, there isn't one! This will have to suffice: :D

Adding the three winning calls (http://forum.ebaumsworld.com/showthread.php?t=158952) anywhere into the board, adding "Hello" (http://www.zshare.net/audio/george-bush-hello-mp3.html) and "Good Afternoon" (http://www.zshare.net/audio/george-bush-good-afternoon-mp3.html) into the greetings. The "hello" helps out alot to get the call going on the right track.

A button to refer potential callers to send their calls to the email...
georgebushprankcalls@gmail

Also two buttons to "Listen to more calls here..." which link to...
http://www.putfile.com/georgebushpranks
http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=georgewbushpranks

A total of 8 additional buttons, hopefully its not asking for too much. I just think it will allow there to be place for everyone to interact, with submitting and listening to calls. Also, I can post any calls that are sent to the email here. I tried creating a myspace page for the soundboard and calls, but the account was deleted within 15 minutes.

Yeah okay. I'll have to re-install Flash and hopefully I haven't lost the original files (I don't think I have). I'll see what I can do tomorrow.

In Internet Explorer...

> Select 'Internet Options' from the Tools menu
> Settings
> View files

Then right click and choose 'Arrange icons by type' and scroll down until you find 'georgebushsoundboard.swf'. Then drag it to your desktop or just open it in that location using Flash Player or IE and it will come up full screen.

I used a decompiler. I used one for my Salad Fingers soundboard as well, to fix it up, as I lost the disc with the original files myself.
