lol. actually, i do want to talk about emo. this thread was supposed to be valid, but then the villainous taste_u hijacked it and all but drove it into the pentagon to fulfill his jihadist prophecies.

i been listening to these old ass "emo" bands lately, it's at least better than punk rock, not that that's really saying much.

Emo is a candidate for the most disgusting bastardisation of a term in the English language. Something that implies emotion, the purpose of most great music, warped to mean watered-down-sentiment 3 chord tripe.

I don't like what little emo I've heard - perhaps I'll make it a mission to get into some.

i like the shit i've seen you list, such as iggy and the stooges and whatnot more than any emo band. but i like fugazi more than minor threat.
