I just seen this movie last night. And it was the funniest of all the Austin Powers movies..in my opinion. Has anyone heard of an Austin Powers dvd boxed set coming out, or is currently out?
What did y'all think of Goldmember? What about the twist of the end?
My fave character is Dr. Evil. The Japanese twins part ws my fave inthis movie.

YEAH BABY, GROOVY (you knew someone was gonna do an Austin impression, it might as well be me). Goldmember was brilliant, the character himself was fantastic, lines like "I am from Holland, isn't it wierd" and of corse "I love gooooooolld" just make him a villen for the ages :D

im pretty surprised. i thought this was the worst of all three. the entire script was pretty much re-used from the second. i thought gold member was one of the worst ideas for that movie. i found him very... un funny (couldnt think anyway to say that). im also not so sure about the ending. if mike myers can make something out of that (which im sure he could) id go c the 4th. i just dont really like how scoot is now "evil". i liked him better when he was arguing with dr. evil and mini me. while watching it, i was laughing at most of the parts just becasue i felt i should be, becasue i was expecting something better.

the only parts i thought were really funny was the twins part and the "godzilla" part.

There's another movie I am not going to watch. It's bad enough that mike meyers reprised the role, but Beyonce knowles, on top of that? She is the biggest hoe going, in a tight race with Mariah Carey...

it has the same old jokes, and what is the deal with Goldmember eating his own skin:confused: it seems like the charecter wasn't funny in it's self, so they had to give him all of these weird personallity querks, like what is up with painting guys balls gold?? the only really funny part was seeing all the celebratys in the begining, i.e tom cruise, kevin spacey. although i am morilly oppose to any movie featuring brittany spears (Uhh just saying her name makes me shutter) my friend thinks she is hot, but i think she is to fake to be hot, manicans are more real than her, i picture some recored producer with a little pony tial controling her from some nasa like room

o yea. forgot bout the begining. that is probably where i laughed the hardest. tru bout goldmember. they tried adding in little stupid jokes to make ppl laugh. i though the whole thing with his legs was retarded, probably something where the makers thought "Hey! its impossible and fake and it looks really cheesy, so it'll make tons of people laugh! lets add it!!"

Yah, saw it the day it came out in theatres...bought it the day it came out in stores (first DVD movie I ever bought! shame shame)...best movie of them all.

the only ppl i can c actaully saying this is the best one are my 9 and 5 year old cousins who think any sequal is better than the first. its the same jokes from the 1st two over and over, and any new jokes are something you may laugh a lil bit a first befor it is completly forgoten.

I have to say that I really liked this move (and as far as I know Im 21years old and not your cousin :D ) usually I would agree that the origional is better then the sequal but I thought that this was a rare film that was better.

It's just my opinion tho, what ever you thought of it is your business, as with music GOOD MOVIES ARE IN THE EYE OF THE BEHOLDER (is that like my catchphrase now or what?);)

I loved Gold Memeber.............esp. the beginning. I couldn't stop laughing. But like Eva said to each his own.
