I will say one thing that I like about them. They did a song called, "The only difference between martyrdom and suicide is press coverage". That's a quote from Chuck Palahniuck's book Survivor, which is fucking awesome. Unfortunately, their song sucked ass.

Yeah, it's a great book. I like the plot to this book more than Fight Club. Whenever you finish it, you can look on the internet to find out what really happened at the end, or you can just PM me.

I actually listened to the whole thing, wasn't as bad as I thought it would be (but i though it'd be the worst album ever.), that said, parts were pretty bad, actually there were 3 listenable songs on it. They aren't very talented and are overhyped, but the album was by no means awful.

i'd give it a 2/5.

If you are going to go to the emo route, listen to Circle Takes The Square, they are actually good.

I've only heard their single (the funeral thing) and the song I already mentioned. How a band can ruin such an awesome book is beyond me, so I lost all respect for them at that point.

I know most the people on this board don't like the two bands I named but -shrug.- I'm pickie about musical tastes and I dig them both. Don't get me wrong though, I love bad-ass bands like Wolfmother but..those are the ones I keep up on.

-I've heard the whole CD and it fucking sucks. The only song I sort of liked was the intermission I think it was called. Long song names are fucking gay and pointless, and yeah. Panic! Panic At The Disco is ok. I think I have 2 of thier songs but I don't listen to them much. Their VMA performance sucked.

The Killers are good. I don't know whats with the hate there.

First of all, Wolfmother is good music, and Colossal is my favorite song as well.

I haven't heard the Killers new CD, but their first one was mediocre.

My Chemical Romance has as bad of a singer as their other contemporaries, and they also have stupid song titles. Isn't one of them something like, "You know what they do to guys like us in prison" or something like that?

And She Wants Revenge is probably the most tolerable emo band. They don't have annoying vocals, and to me, they sound something like Interpol, which is good in my book.

I'm almost sorry to say it, but whats to be MCRs new single....I actually like. The beginning and end of the song doesnt sound much like MCR at all (in a good way), but then in the middle its changed and does sound typical.

Its called Welcome to the Black Parade, can prolly find on youtube. Its obviously not some amazing song or anything, but easily a listenable radio song that I would be okay with.

Someone said something abotu MCR having those long song names..they have 2...the prison one which goes along with their song and one that doesn't. Compared to FOB and P!ATD where almost every song has a long-ass name.
