Electric Ladyland by Jimi Hendrix. One of the best albums of the sixties. It was released in 1968, and was Hendrix's third album. It has bluesy stuff, psychedelic stuff ( my favorite ), and normal rock stuff. On it is the famous song All Along the Watchtower (originaly done by Bob Dylan), one of the greatest rock songs ever. It also has the epic blues song Voodoo Chile, and the hypnotizing psychedelic song 1983...(A Merman I Should Turn To Be). It is one of the best, most varied albums around, and deserves its own thread.
What is your opinion of this album? What's your favorite song off it? What do you think of Hendrix?

I think it's okay, I'm not going to skip out on an album I'm going to buy, just because I realised I do not have it. Though, I do have the album.

I'm a huge Jimi fan.
I find it very purturbing that his only Top 20 hit EVER was All Along the Watchtower...not even his own song.
IMO, James was the greatest man to ever touch a guitar.
