What on earth are they thinking?
A QB like Brady who has won three super bowls for you, and you can't even bring back his favorite (and really only) target.
With all the cap space they have (and money) I think their fools.
Yet the Seahawks continue to improve....

It has to be a 1st or 2nd round pick. If they get a 3rd like the Broncos got for Lelie they will look like idiots.
Edit: It's a 1st rounder. Good trade for both teams.

I agree they should of just gave him what he wanted. But I don't think the Dolphins will beat us in the division because of this trade. Even though Brown, Caldwell, Childress, and whoever else they got isn't great, it will do. Kevin Faulk I'm sure will be included a lot more, even though he usually is.

1st of all - The Dolphins fucking suck. Talk about overrated, they looked horrible against the Steelers.
2nd of all - fuck this guy. He signed his contract, he needs to deal with it. I hate these fucking athletes who act like it's so much to ask that they play one more fucking season on their current contract. He's played so well for them for 4 years, play the 5th year just as well and you guarantee yourself a big contract. But you are the one that signed the 5 year deal, so fucking get over it. It's not like he signed a 10 year deal and any bonus or raise wasn't in his near future. It's one season, get over yourself and go earn a bonus. What a piece of shit, obviously only worried about himself.

the dolphins dont suck, overrated yes they will NOT make the superbowl like some people say, but they wont like 9 of their last 10 games last year or somethin liek that...culpeper is a great QB and chambers is definately top 10 receivers in the NFL, defense has always een good and will continue to be even tho theyre idiots for giving the giants madison...
and whats with boston being a bunch of cheap fucks in every sport...if a player has done everything uve asked of him and more for your team and is a key aspect to your offense like branch (johnny damon, pedro martinez) give them the MONEY theyre needed

Why the hell would Seattle give up a first rounder for Deion Branch? They already have two recievers and a TE that are just as talented or better than him. He is a dime dozen reciever that wanted superstar money. The Pats made a great deal here. Anyone on their depth chart can fill in for Branch. When you have a QB like Brady, an ordinary WR like Branch can look like a star.
I guess when the Seahawk organization and fans realizes the stupidity of this move, they'll blame the refs for that too.

all they get is a second-round draft pick which is commensurate value.

Deion Branch wanted too much money, Thats why the Pats told him to go ahead and start looking for teams that would give it to him, I know cuz the Eagles were interested in him but then they found out how much he was wanting and they said FUCK THAT! Plus i am glad cuz now we got Donte Stallworth.

Culpepper sucks, he's gonna have another shitty season. He's nothing without Moss, and apparently Moss is nothing with him.
You don't seem to understand the nature of a contract. He had one more season to play before his contract ran up. He's the one that signed the fucking thing. They would have given him his money in the upcoming off season, but demanding it a year before your contract is up is just childish and puts you in a bad place with your team. These athletes think the world owes them something, they are incredibly selfish. I have a yearly review at work, if I demanded more money 6 months after a review, they would tell me to fuck off. I earn a raise in that year, and get it when it's due. Not before. I don't threaten to hold my perverbial breath until they give me what I want either. The Patriots did the right thing by getting rid of the guy, good for them.

the seahawks would have probably drafted a wide reciever in the 1st round of the draft anyway, this way they get a veteran player who has proven himself in a good offense, he will grow to be even better in seattle because he wont be the focal point of the offense and the defenses will now have to stay true to all 4 of the seahawks recievers(engram, jackson, burleson and now branch)
the patriots will now have to replace and number 1 reciever and theyll use one of their picks to do it but with the draft no player has proven themselves to be a number 1
i'll give the better of the deal to the seahawks

Looks like I'm picking up Doug Gabriel in some fantasy leagues.
This is a pretty decent pick up for the Seahawks, though I heard he wont play till Week 10 or something.
