Green Bay Packers were the worst. They havent been shut out since 91, And the Bears were the last team to do it. Favre needs to hang it up and let the team build around Aaron.

tough call between the bucs and packers.

i'll have to go with the bucs, though, just because they've got a lot of talent and were the favorite to win this one.
on the other hand, nobody thought the packers, who have the talent of a pretty good college football team, would win.

Damn i forgot about the Bucs. It's got to be the Bucs, everyone expected Green bay to look horrible, but the Bucs being shut out like that, noone expected that.

Carolina Panthers.

Call me a homer here but everyone expected the Bucs and Packers to do poorly. The Panthers come out and lay an egg like that after all of their press in the off season. What a disappointment. I guess the only good thing is they can turn it around maybe, the Pack and Bucs will suck all year.

By far the Panthers, they are (or were) solid on both sides of the ball, even without Steve Smith, they just completely flopped to Ron Mexico, went away from their gameplan to take that fuck out.

panthers arent the complete team that everyone makes them out to be, this was a big upset even without steve smith

packers just arent good

the bucs go owned though, there supposed to be atleast decen and they got murdered....

but worst performance, even tho it pains me to say it... was the seahawks, they barely got away from detroit with a win and they played horrible the entire game
but, they got a win :D

1 green bay
2 tampa
3 Carolina

The panthers defesne actually played pretty well its just that they were on the field way too long, cuz the offense didnt do shit, and micheal vick being the cheater taht he is. I was fuckin pissed cuz they almost never doubled teamed abraham the whole game, fucking stupid ass cass john fox. Not to mention they didnt give deangelo williams one fucking carry or even utilize him in the passing game, if they did they would have at least made it 20-13

1. Tampa, Lost the gameplan early and got their asses smacked.
2. Carolina, No excuse, has to put up a better fight
3. Green Bay, No one expected anything here anyways.

RAIDERS. Are you watching this shit? These guys couldn't catch a COLD. They are terrible. Just terrible.

Its close between the Bucs and Raiders. I was pissed because I had Cadillac as my fantasy running back and they gave him the ball on the ground 8 times. Either the Chargers defense is amazing or the Raiders have the worst pass protection ever (although they never ran the ball so the offense was unbalanced). Plus they completely waste the talent of Randy Moss. He needs to get the hell out of there.

Its the Bucs. 1 comp. to a WR the whole game??? Gruden has the wrong quaterback in there. Simms seriously looked AFRAID. They have all these weapons, but it seems like Gruden INSISTS on going for the 3-5 yard dumps every play. It pisses me off because everyone here in Tampa praises that guy because of the superbowl, when it was Dungy's team that won it. All gruden had to was show up.

It could be that he bought into the media. Before the game the analyst were saying how he was the next great thing, how he'll do this, how he'll do that.

That can mentally fuck up your quarterback. Give the kid a break, he'll probably be better next week.

Also he had 17 completions, 9 to receivers.

I have no clue where i got that stat from. What an asshole. :dunce:

But, I like Simms, i think he has a future, i just dont think he is the man right now. Gruden likes to give a guy 2 years to develop, and if he isnt up to snuff he cuts them. No one can get comfortable with the offense. The only thing that holds this team together is their defense. As soon as some start to retire, you might as well bring back the creamsickles.

as terrible as the bucs panters and packers played, the raiders looked like they just started playing football together. How many sacks did they give up and how many dropped passes and incompletes it was pathetic.

My pick goes to the Raiders. I think my high schools football team could've done better.

On the three pre-game morning shows, I don't think anyone voted Tampa to lose... I know everybody on the Fox and ESPN shows agreed Tampa would win, I don't remember what the CBS guys voted.

How can people be surprised about the Raiders, The sucked longer than the packers, they havent recovered from their super bowl loss in '03.

Worse team: Packers and Raiders
Most Disappointing: Seahawks, (though they did win...it's the fucking lions) Washington (though I'm glad), and of course the Bucs.
Moderate Disappointments : Denver? What the hell? And Carolina. I actually had Atlanta winning that game. Even if Steve Smith I think the outcome would've relatively been the same. D-Hall's a great cover corner.

Instead of going with the obvious Raiders pick, I'll just say WTF happened to the Seahawks?
