Thats probably the best use for the 100$. whats the point of really high quality headphones as long as i can hear my music well, then im fine. You only really benefit with high quality headphones if you have a high quality mp3 player.

So they can't be exactly $100?
Sorry, couldn't resist. :D

Anyway, Sennheisers are good headphones. I have to buy some new ones as well, because my current cheap ones only work if the cord is in a specific place. That might have something to do with accidentally shutting the car door on them. :(

They have some really good quality headphones and other cool gear.
I have the G.I. ones and havn't had any problems whatsoever and even in a noisy place like highschool they cancel out all unwanted noise. But I usually just have earbuds in so other ppl can listen as well.

I've been using the same head phones for about two years now, and I bought them at a dollar store. They're bad ass though, because the cable only goes to the left ear piece, so it doesn't get in my way that often.

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO FOR THE LOVE OF GOD NO. :preachon:

The best sub-$100 headphone I'd recommend is either the Grado SR-60 or the Sennheiser HD555. If you can find a used HD580, it would even be better (although it may require more amplification, its still really good). The best bargain you can get is the Koss KSC-35/75 earphones that run for only $20, but will trample anything under the Grado SR-60 price range.

the only reason to get crazy expensive headphones is if you travel a lot
