I feel bad for art shell. He really wanted to win that game, you could tell how upset he was in the post game. All though the oline was the biggest problem by far, I didnt see much positives in anything except for special teams and occasionally defense. Which is pathetic.

They need to force the whole team to retire and get new young players next season.

The raiders are in the top 5 of youngest teams in the league. Theyre average starter on defense has 2 years experience. The oline is composed of rookies, a third year guy and 2 vets. Aaron brooks is a young quaterback. Randy moss, ronald curry, and jerry porter arent even 30. Lamont jordan is 27. I know the raiders performance last night was absolutely horid and disgusting, but what the fuck are you trying to prove?

I dont care how young Aaron Brooks is (and he's not that young, it's his 8th year), he's horrible, worst starting QB in the league last year and that is including Kyle Bller.

The Raiders last night...showed me one of the worst performances by any team I've seen in a long time. Nothing went right, nothing was good..nothing. It could be because they're young, I say it's the management, attitude, and just flat out suckage. They suck, Robert Gallery was getting owned all night. Yet you were the same one bragging up this heap of shit before the season even started.

And by the way things are looking, I'm going 1-0 on my very first little signature bet on ebaumsworld

I completely agree. Do you have any idea how painful it was to endure all 3 hours of that bullshit, waiting for something to go right? I also agree Brooks shouldnt be starting. If this year is going to be as ridiculous as last night then I say start Walter now and let him get through the growing pains. The thing is, with our terrible piece of shit oline, walter would get killed. Brooks was not pulled last night because of poor play by himself. He was pulled for his own safety, he was going down hard every other play. He didnt even have the oppurtunity to show something. I'm going to stand by Brooks, just like I did Collins, but I am not going to judge him until he proves to me he cant get the job done. Last night the o line proved they couldnt. Peyton manning couldnt have made us look good last night. Now I expect Shell to completely rip these guys apart. He tore them apart for not practicing hard enough, I cant even imagine what was being said earlier today. I refuse to write the season off after one disgusting game. As of right now, my sig is yours for the taking. I'm hoping this team gets on track by week 8.

Well, I think it's a little premature to say Brooks shouldn't be starting. The Raiders O-Line may as well have not even shown up to the game. Say basically, it was San Diego's D-Line and linebackers Vs. Aaron Brooks and Walter. More specifically, it was Shawn Merriman vs. the quaterbacks. And I'm choosing Shawn Merriman to win that matchup 99% or the time. I admit, Brooks threw some bad passes, but damn, when one dude basically ASSRAPES your offensive line, then you have a problem. Good luck to all you Raiders fans. You are in for a long season.
