I'm not a texan fan by any means. But apparently the Packers are retarded and traded Samkon Gado to the Texans. He impressed me a lot last year and I hope the Texans can use him well, especially since he's on one of my fantasy teams.

I don't understand this trade for the packers.. they got a useless RB in return.. yeah they are loaded at the position.. at least trade for a need especially when your team sucks major cock...

Gado is a great back.
The packers are morons.
Wait until Green goes down.
No more Davenport or Gado now either....

God it feels good to be Viking fan.

I wouldnt go so far to say he's great, but his story is cool and he just has the character that's likable. Also a good dependable running back.

Gado was good... I don't understand this.
I've never been a Packers fan, but Ahman Green played for Nebraska, he went to my high school, so I'm naturally a fan of him. I want more than anything him not to get injured this season, he's been screwed too much the last few years, he's an amazing player, just goes down with serious injuries.

As a columnist for the Packers at www.nfldraftblitz.com, I was really perplexed by this trade. The Packers thinking must have gone something like this. They just signed KR/WR Koren Robinson. Gado had been working as the lead kick returner so he lost his spot there. Green looked great in the season opener and the team must have been confident that he is 100% recovered from that quad injury last season. Gado was struggling to adapt to the new zone blocking scheme (which is ironic because Houston uses an almost identical scheme). The team likes Noah Herron's versatility but don't view him as a 3rd down back. Enter Vernand Morency, who was the Texans primary 3rd down back coming into the season. I wouldn't say the Packers are "loaded at the position" as one poster put it. In the preseason they had alot of bodies (Green, Gado, Davenport, Herron, UDFA Arliss Beach, FB Henderson and Vonta Leach) but you know the saying if you have multiple RB's you don't have any (of quality). Now, that is my guess as to what the Packers were thinking.
In my opinion, it was a little premature to let Gado go. After not playing hardly in the preseason and missing almost all of last season, Ahman Green probably isn't physically to the point where he would be in a normal season. He could tire out this week, next week, whenever. I'm not sold on Herron as a primary ball carry, he's had problems holding onto the ball. Also, Gado was a real inspirational story I think to the rest of the guys on the team. On a bad team you need guys like that in the locker room to keep the morale up. This is just another bad move by Ted Thompson. Gado will be given every opportunity to win the starting job in Houston, which is good for him.

when i saw that scrolling on the bottom on espn...i believe my thoughts were 'WHAT. THE. FUCK."
gado is a beast, and i've never heard of this guy from the texans.
the packers are really pissing me off. when they finally do something that might help their offense (getting robinson), they go and throw away gado.
poor, poor move. this gm has been disgraceful lately.
