why sometimes when you download songs they play for a little bit then get all fucked up, why would someone keep let alone share a song like that?

This is down to some big music corperation in the USA the RIAA.
They have scrambled the songs due to falling CD sales worldwide.
However it only seems to effect Kazaa.
I dont know why people even use Kazaa anymore when there are far better p2p apps out there.

songs on imesh do that 2.i use mirc now never have a problem,with this instead of downloading song by song which u can,u can get the whole album,intros and all.best thing since slice bread.i wouldnt download all albums i still buy my favorite rappers cds.

I dont download anymore, its not worth it. It messed up my computer and about 1/4 of the files i downloaded had viruses in them.

Kazaa Lite is what I use, I never had a problem with it either. It has over 2.5 and 3.5 millions users at all times and you can download pretty much anything you want. Programs, music and movies are what I usually download. That is what I recommend.

Yeah K-Lite has worked very well for me. I say "has worked" because now I can't seem to get it open for some reason. So I'm now using Soulseek which is pretty good itself.

Kazaa worked well for me to. But the srambeling is going to get worse.
Ive got rid of Kazaa and all i use now is DC++ and Torrent. DC++ has a massive user network compared to kazaa. Its the dogs chods!

Kazaa lite is the best for me by far. Easiest and most reliable. I am getting into bit torrent, mostly for downloading huge files of live shows or whole cds though. But it is hard to find a good connection with bt.

Yeah that site kicks ass. I can never get a good connection though, and games never work.

Ive not had a problem with it but sometimes you get a connection time out trouble connecting to host. Just leave it tryin and 90% of the time it will connect.

In my opinion (a very un-technical and un-p2p educated one) different search engine things work better with different computers. bearshare has always worked great with me, at least in music (because i've never downloaded anything else), but i've tried other programs and they've all sucked. You just have to find one that works with your computer and your system and all your shit and stick with it.

I tried Kazaa and Bittorrent. Kazaa was working but all the time I had problems, Bittorrent I never really understood. On some kind of way I managed to mess up my entire computer. A friend of my cleaned it up and installed Zultrax.

I am very satisfied with this program. It works very easy and I get all the music I want. I do not know a lot of this kind of programs but Zultrax is working just fine for me.

I agree. And to get back to the thing about fucked up songs - just get the ones that dont have 90 users and download a bunch of different copies at the same time. At least one of them will definetly be clean.

I really hate when they do that. The worst is when they scramble it at only the last 15 seconds or so. But hey it's free - cant complain.

Meh, i think downloading from p2p servers is kinda dumb, but thats just me. I've screwed up and had to rebuild 2 of my computers because of the corupt and fragmented files I've downloaded form them. Oh well..

Yea, my brother was tryin to download some song the other day, and he tried like 5 or so different files and all of them just started gettin all messed up. I think you should use WinMX instead to download stuff. It's SOOO much better then KAZAA

I used Kazaa for a while but spyware and what not fucked me up so I moved to Ares. Ares is shit I don't recommend it to anyone. Fed up I went Kazaa Lite & i've been pleased. Only song that I've really wanted is Elton John's Rocketman.. all of them seem to be scrambled.

I downloaded tremors 3 and 4 off Kazaa, the good thing about it is that there are rare files there to be found, you just need to be patient with the download.
