Ive found a few vids on this car over the months but this one is the best.

Amazing Cozzi (http://www.ish1.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/reyland_escort_at_brunters_03.wmv), Seriously fast :D

Some other spec.

"The results of the mapping session, performed at SCS by Harvey Gibbs and engine mapping guru Ahmed Bayjoo, was 584BHP/580lb-ft torque. What's more, when tested and mapped for 102 RON Race Fuel, he achieved 627BHP/595lb-ft torque."

"Probably the most famous of all the Reyland vehicles, Martin's Escort Cosworth holds the top speed record for the badged Cosworth vehicles at 194.7mph. This incredible vehicle also holds the Guinness World Record for the fastest caravan tow at 128.8mph."

"0-60: 2.88 seconds, 0-100: 6.06 seconds, 100-150: 6.97 seconds, 1/4 mile: 10.66@136mph and a top speed: 194.7mph"

And its entering this years Gumball Rally, wooohooo for gumball. Good luck reyland crew. :D

Edit: Gumball finished on the 10th of this month, i wonder how they got on.

Here we go..

"BREAKING NEWS: Team 132 just reported a new accident just minutes ago. The car involved is a rally-rigged Ford Cosworth who flipped over 100m ahead of Team 132. Both drivers are injured, with one in need of first aid. Luckily, both drivers should be fine! The Cosworth is reported total wreckage. We will be back with more information as soon as possible.

It was the Looney Cosworth that crashed in Marrakech this morning. Team 132 was in front after leaving Marrakech at 8 pm local time today (08.06.2004). There were one or two cars between Team 132 and the Looney Cosworth when it left the road and disappeared in clouds of dust. Parts were shattered over a large area. Team 132 was the first persons to arrive and help them. Fortunately the car was built as a rally car and both persons are ok, circumstances considered. The co-pilot felt unwell and bleed from his nose, so he was taken to a hospital nearby. The car will most likely be shipped back too England. We do not know the reason for the accident. "

R.I.P :(
That car was a legend.

"FOR SALE!
A change in direction forces the regrettable sale of the actual engine that did 0-60 in 2.88 and 195mph. The bottom end is for sale, without cylinder head... although a head could be ported to the same spec if required.

Alloy Millington block 20kg (iron block 45kgs) taller than cosworth block, head bolts also bolt up crank mains, separate main bearing carrier, acralite pistons, long farndon rods, stroked farndon crank, modified water pump, modified engine mounts, pace external oil pump and modified pick up.
Just short of 2300cc, which means really good drivability but still big top end power.
Rebuild included in price....... Ģ8500 ovno

SERIOUS ENQUIRIES ONLY on +44(0)121 753 3489 / +44(0)7860 452 145, ask for Martin Hadland."

Can someone borrow me some money please? $17,000ish.
Ill pay it back with interest. :p
