Wow. In a all my years being a Giant fan, I have never scene a comeback like that. I Hate the Eagles with an extreme passion so this win is extra special. If you didn't get to see the game, you missed out on one of the best comebacks in NFL history. Players were crampiing up all over the place giving it everything they had.
To Andy Ried and Donavan McNabb: HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!!!!!

I hate the Eagles because they're on the other side of the state.
I hate the Giants because they took Burress.
I watched like 30 seconds of this game.

for a qb who got sacked 7 times and could't get nothing started I wouldnt be soo bought on this team just yet, You can't rely on 4 qtr comebacks on Manning all the time, thats what happend last week against the colts, but that didn't work out, this time it did and i congratulate the Giants on their efforts, but their offense needs to step up and protect this qb b4 he becomes the next david carr. The eagles messed up in the 4 qtr by running the ball and not trying down field pass's, our team is built for passing and not soo much running, i understand what Reid was doing, he was trying to run the clock out as much as possible but it don't work if your running attack isn't all that great. Westbrook's fumble is what got the Giants back in the game. The Eagles have an easy schedule until we play dallas, so we can easily go 4-1. The eagles dominated the first 3 qtrs of play and the giants controlled the 4 qtr and O.T. and got the won so thats what matters so i will be anxiously waiting untill we play again.

That was a good win for the Giants, I thought the Eagles had it after the half.
Well, the Eagles definitely arent fake, or the same team from last year as people "say" they are because of a locker room cancer, so they will still be contenders for the division.

The Giants have the toughest schedual in the NFL. So Expect more amazing comeback attempts by Eli Manning <see DontBottaMe13 comment>. I was prepared for them to be 0-2 at this point. Yeah, they looked like shit in the first 3 quarters of the game, but they showed how well trained they are as far as fitness in the 4th. Guys were cramping up all over the place. The Giants defense stepped up in the 4th way beyond expectations. I had actually written them off at half time.

That game pissed me off. I was rooting for the Eagles (because I think the Giants are the better team) and they just blew it in the 4th. I know the Giants played well in the 4th/OT, but that kind of comeback means that the Eagles also played poorly in the crunch.
To top it all off the guy I'm playing in fantasy has Eli. I hope this doesn't lose that game for me.

That was a great game? If anything it showed how bad the Giants are. The eagles obviously blew it with some bad play calling (going for it twice on 4th down) and Westbrook fumbling. The eagles let the giants stay in the game and looked pathetic in the 2nd half on their own terms. The giant defense was nonexistent for the first 3 qtrs as madison got burned like the toast he is. Tiki couldnt do anything and Carter shouldnt have gotten that touchdown. It was stupidly fumbled and the giants got away with one. I didnt really mind who won this because it would keep all the NFCE close either way it went.
Eli got sacked 20 times and they committed just as many penalties. That was one ugly ass win, especially since tiki couldnt do shit and your O-line looked like Dallas's! (ok that was a low blow) . One of the greatest comebacks in history? Try the skins last year over the dallas on national television with that rivalry on that day.

Not even close to the greatest comeback ever.
The Bills' come-from-behind victory over the Houston Oilers in the 1992 playoffs. Came back from 35-3 down.
The Jets came back from a 23-point deficit late in the third quarter to beat the Dolphins 40-37 in OT in 2000.
Those are two good ones. I hate the Eagles, so its all good.

Eli got sacked 8 times and still won the game. It wasent a pretty game, but I'll take it. The fact that Tiki couldn't get it going and the Giants still win is a good thing. By the way, watch out for Brandon Jacobs in the future. This dude is a lineman with speed.

You guys are fucking retarded. "Well it wasn't actually the best comeback ever, look at these. <insert great comebacks that everyone already fucking knows about and are mentioned every fucking time a comeback discussion is mentioned> It was a good fucking comeback.
And to everyone that says that Giants o-line is shitty I'd rather say they had a bad game. This isn't just some homer statement, because how many sacks did they allow last week to the great Dwight Freeney and Robert Mathis?
And it's funny, poopchow, how you say this game showed how crappy the Giants are but when the Cowboys outplayed the redskins last year except for a whole 2 plays you never say that was a bad game. Yes, it was a good game.

Three greatest comebacks are Bills over Oiler (Reich also had a forty point comeback against Miami when in college), 49ers over Giants a few years ago (did I just bring up some bad memories), and the Colts over the Bucs on MNF.
I didn't see the game, but I'm glad the Giants won. I hate the Eagles because of ESPN. I swear, for the last two years or so, I couldn't turn that network on without them saying something about the Eagles. There are 31 other fucking teams! Does anyone else honestly not give a fuck what Owens does? How is him working out in his drive way news? Fuck the Eagles, and the Patriots as well.

How is it the Eagles fault for TO? And if you havent noticed, TO is in Dallas now, so it's Dallas that's always being on ESPN.

He (and other Eagles) have been all over ESPN for years, long before he went to Dallas. What does it matter anyway? I have no reason to root for them in the first place, and all of this is enough for me to hate them.

That was bullshit though because there was a defensive pass interference that should've been called and we would've had another chance at a FG that would've won the game.

It's not as if they flopped, They dominated the Giants until the fourth quarter, and went to overtime. Any one of them could have won.

Yeah but that doesn't excuse Ditka saying the Giants were overrated(they aren't, no one even picked us to win the divison so I have no idea what the hell he was getting at) or Sean Salsbury (= Giant Douchebag) for saying that he didnt even pick the Giants to go to the playoffs.

Well when you have TO on Americas team..no one is going to pick the Giants to win the division, even if it sounds ridiculous.
I personally have the Giants getting a wildcard but it's not a stupid pick to say they wont make the playoffs.
And yeah Salsbury is a fuck, he picked against the Steelers in every single playoff game.

Man I had the giants in this game, all wasnt looking so good. I'm in a pool where you pick 5 games against the spread and this was my only risky one. Had the fucking rams beat the niners by 3 I would be $600 richer. Fuck I was 4/5 and my fucking easy win game was the one that fucked me over.

Who cares if they had a locker room cancer? Most teams do, but they deal. Their head coach and Mcnabb are just whiney bitches and i'm glad they lost. The cocky mother fuckers shot themselves in the foot. I mean what the hell was up with that obnoxious shit mcnabb pulled on that snap and why the hell did that philly guy kick a giants player? They deserve that loss.

I know it was last year, but what does it matter if they had "Cancer". Keyshawn Johnson did the same thing pretty much, and look at what little coverage it got compared to TO and the Eagles. Is it a new story? Yes. Did it need to be reported on every single day, on every one of their football related shows? No. And I am in no way exaggerating that it was every day.
Even you should see the logic in this: The Eagles were a bigger news story than the Steelers who actually won the Super Bowl.

That's not surprising because the media hates covering the Steelers except the Ben Roethlisberger accident just so they could ridicule him.
It matters because TO single handedly RUINED that team, their morale was down, the desire to play, their LEADER McNabb was in the middle of it and he got injured..so.
MeShawn was all over ESPN when this was happening...however TO is much more talented than him, which would make that the reason why.
And the fact that since they went 6-10 was another reason why they were talked about. When you go to 4 straight NFCCG's and go to the Superbowl the following year you're going to get the attention if your team is not doing so well.

I think saying TO ruined the team is stupid. McNabb getting hurt is a major reason why the sucked. That and Reid's play calling was retarded. He refused to run the ball. And you can't tell me that TO didn't give it his all on Sunday. If you think he made the other players play worse, that's their problem, not his. He did whatever he could to win. All he wanted was some more money. If that's a crime, then every NFL football player should be in jail.
And yes, TO is better than Keyshawn, but no player is worth the amount of attention he got.
And from season 2004 to 2005:
Jets went from 10-6 to 4-12
Packers went from 10-6 to 4-12
Panthers went from 7-9 to 11-5
Bears went from 5-11 to 11-5
All of these teams had similar switches from 13-3 to 6-10 (although some are in the reverse). None of these were big stories. And besides, being a losing team isn't news worthy on a national level.
ESPN cared more about a 6-10 team and two player who only played part of the year than anyone else. Why is wrong to consider that stupid?

This was a big win for the Giants, not because of how they won, but because I thought it was pretty important not to start the season 0 - 2, heading to Seattle, last year's NFC champs. That game was going to be tough, regardless of this outcome, but having won this game, it will give them more confidence heading into that game. Also, losing to Phili, a division rival would have made for a big lead in the standing. Considering there are only 16 games in a season and consideirng that this division is going to be one of the most tightest and hard fought divisions in the NFL and considering the Giants have won of the hardest schedules this year. Very good/imporant win for the Giants.

He called his QB out, and he called his team out...that's more than "asking for money".
Those 4 teams never went to 4 straight NFC championship games along with 1 Superbowl in those 4 years either.

Would he have said all those things if the cameras weren't in his face every day? And regardless to what he said, he still played. Does anything really matter besides that in the NFL?
And in all of those four years, the Patriots were even better. They got less coverage than the Eagles.
The Eagle are one team of thirty two, and Donavan and TO are two player out of hundreds. None of them have a ring, and they all sucked last year. Yet they recieved the most coverage. ESPN made this news when there wasn't a whole lot there. Look at this year, TO didn't practice, and that was reported on every single day. How much practice did Ward miss? Was there an ESPN crew watching that every single day? No.
Just answer this, and I'll let this die. I won't respond anymore if you just answer this question.
True or False: The Eagles were covered by ESPN too much.

Yes, he would have said that, no matter what, because he's a selfish, conceited player.
No way, the Pats got more coverage in the past 5 years than ANY team in the NFL.
I agree that McNabb had a lot of coverage, but that's all because of the racism and everything. First black quarterback drafted, blah blah. And the thing is he was one of the first QB's since he got here that could move around the pocket like that and have great accuracy. Another reason is because..well, he's good, one of the best, would you rather see them have coverage on Marc Bulger? McNabb has been working with scrap receivers most of his career. This year is the first year he actually has GOOD talent to throw too. There were many reasons why he got a lot of coverage.
It's a fact, they were, but it was for good reason, because for all those years they were one of the best teams in the NFL, and did something no other team will probably ever do.
