Theres plently of info on DC++ around.
I said it on the last thread it is amazing.

Ask me where your friend got stuck and ill help.
Basic info
1. You have to share
2. To get the most out of it you need to be sharing 10gig and over.
3. You will be banned for sharing incomplete or windows folders or other software folders.
4. Some hubs dont like porn and will give u a temp ban of 24hrs if caught same goes with faces of death stuff and temp files all = 24hr ban.
5. Dont lie about your connection speed the server scans and checks.
6. Fake sharing can be done but if caught wave bye bye to DC++ for good.
7. Slots. You need to have open the right amount of slots for users to download off you depending on you connection. I have 3 slots open and im on a 600kbs cable connection.
8. Its god knows how many times bigger than any other p2p out there.
9. Hubs, Most require 1 slot open for each hub your in.

If you want help setting DC++ up (if you think you have enough to share) some hubs let you in with a gig....ask away.

You must try Zultrax. I use this program for the last month after trying other programs. It is working very good for me and my boyfriend is happy because 'this one does not mess up his computer'.

I would recommend not downloading software like that anyway. Even if it appears to not screw up your computer, the files can embed themselves into your hardrive without you knowing it. Just buying the CD's is safer, plus less hastle with corrupt files.
