I am starting an account on World of Warcraft, and I am trying the prepaid card thing. The problem is, I dont know if I need to have one now, it seems so on activation of the account. Anyone else do this?

Yes, you need some way to continue through the 30 days, be it game card or credit card.

That is bullshit. Oh well, looks like I wont be playing today.
Or I could use this 10 day guest pass it came with, just to get a feel for the game.
But I already installed it...

Installing the game doesn't mean anything. You can use your guest pass. It's somewhere on the account page.

I thought that too, but you need one or the other first. It will still give you the month free, provided you have a form of payment when it expires.
Oh well, I guess I will buy one at Target after work tomorrow, I didnt check if they had them when I bought the game.

cancel it. pay to play games just take your life away because your always trying to get your moneys worth of fun. "yea im doing some pretty boring shit now but when im level 60 that will be so cool!"... thats what youll be saying, and when your the highest level you can be youll look back on the waste of time and be pissed. ive played a 20$ game for 5 years and not bored of it yet, find a game like battle for middle earth or counter strike and just get good at it... it will be much more fun then wasting your money on a game where the person who waste the most of his life is the best.
