im looking for a new laptop.. i managed to find a sweet alienware for £1440 (thats english pounds, so think around the region of $2300) but today i found an aeoncraft laptop of very similar power for about $1500.. they dont ship to ireland but i could just set up one of those shipping account thingys.. what im wondering though is, is it too good to be true? (obviosly alienware should be able to justify being more expensive, besides better looks, and iv heard stories of companies, e.g ibuypower, being fairly crap, so im a bit wary of chosing them over someone more "name brand")

its probally real, alienware's overrated..they cost a little to much..but they've got great cases.

Why would you want a gaminglaptop? I mean, you're always held back by the fact that you have a crappy mouse, internet-access can be a pain in the lower back-region and it's more expensive than a Desktop...

by the crappy mouse i presume you mean the touchpad? thats why you buy a decent USB mouse, sure it pricey, but you dont have to pay for a moniter and keyboard like on a desktop..my internet access is fine.. (we have a wireless router so having a laptop means i can have it in every room)..and since im going o college soon anyway, id need a laptop for then, so why buy a gaming desktop on top of that?

bah, laptops at college are over rated. And I hate the keyboards on laptops. Also upgrading a laptop is harder than a regular pc. thats just me though :)

If your putting off buying pc for new technologys you could be waiting indefinately
