now with the new mmo's coming out, (huxley,mass effect) i was wondering something. do you think they're going to ask to pay monthly?

It wouldn't be an MMO without the montly payments.

Guild Wars doesn't make you pay monthly. So long as you bought the game, you play for free.

It's a toss up. I'm willing to bet that Huxxy won't require a monthly fee, but then again it does cost money to run these mmo servers. Not to mention the flood of complaints, etc etc that a cust serv team will have to deal with. These people won't be working for free...so only time will tell I guess.

Huxley is cross platform, and is going to have a monthly fee. I have been waiting for the PC release of Huxley for a very long time, and if it doesn't come out soon, I'll kill children. Lots of them.

Mass Effect isnt an MMO either. Huxly will cost a monthly fee.
