qustion about VOIP

sorry i got a qustion about this prog i found called VOIP.. i can make free calls to landlines with it ( even to china) . but is there a catch?? it feels too good to be real :confused:

I've never used VOIP, always used Skype. Put £10 in there to call landlines, call charges are pretty decent.
