I'm not very sure about this game. I kinda want to start playing it, but I'm not sure if it is really worth taking the time.
Any advice?

It's free, I played it for a while. It's incredibly realistic, in fact too much for me, so I stuck to COD 2 and other games. But I definately recommend it, just to even look at the graphics and training.

It's definitely worth the price. It is also very realistic, in that all the places you train at are modeled after real places. I've played the game and have been to most of those places in real life, and can tell you, the training is definitely realistic.
When you're finished training, you can go on missions, and they're pretty fun. There are even a couple of co-op missions so you can shoot some AI if you're not very good at shooting real players, like I do.:(

That's my point. I'll forgive you, though, because you're new.

You should get the game anyway since it's free.Well, it's free if you're not an American taxpayer.

Sometimes free software is pawned off on unsuspecting people in retail stores. It just sounded like you were making a reference to buying the game.

Watch the new 'Real Heroes' videos in the Virtual Recruiting Center and it'll put you up to 75 or 76 for doing fuck all.
i used to play it but uninstalled it cos it took up quite alot of space. I think you should download it seeing as it is free but wether or not you will like it i dont know. I thought it was alright but too slow paced

be aware, the majority of the people who download this game get pissed with the training and delete the shit. I was hooked for a while, it's pretty fun. But if you do DL it, don't be a pussy, finish the training.

Yeah, get it. It roxx!
Plus, it's completely free, and you can pwn your friends online with it. Definetely get it, although, it does take up 2.5GB, and takes over an hour to download & install...

I don't know why I gave it up. It was the type of game that you could suck at and still have fun with. I got better and it became even more fun, especially when using teamplay on Hotel or getting the M203 on the fortress mission. Once you get into it, it is very fun. You will find a niche in a certain level. I've gone from tunnel to bridge to fortress to hotel to that one chopper destroying mission. Like I said, I don't know why I quit. Maybe it was interest in other games and keeping a clear hard drive (you don't know what it is like to balance 40GB with three other people, but that was the early days).
The only training missions I had trouble with were Special Forces and the firing range (I could pass, but never get sharpshooter). On the firing range I once got 35, one short of getting my beloved M82A1. Just for kicks I played the sniper training level and suddenly I was using the sniper in game. They supposedly fixed that a LONG time ago, but it still worked. The only problem I had with the writing tests was that my earlier computer's graphics card didn't support the slideshow for some reason (ATI Rage 128 Pro, ouch). Of course I moved on to bigger and better computers and I was fine and dandy.
Overall I highly recommend getting it.

I downloaded it some time ago but the damn training takes too long so I deleted it. I swear if I could get past that part fast I would play the game.
