Hello fellow footballers, with my football season starting in about 2 weeks at my school I want to really be in top shape because im new to this team, my problem is, my left leg is practicly non existent, i can barely kick with it and i don't have much handle with it, i can juggle with it fine, but aside from that its useless, do any of you know any exrcises and stuff i can do to help me strengthen my left leg so i can be a more rounded player?
thanks in advance!

Practise, practise, practise. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muscle_memory)
You could stand in your yard swinging it at fresh air but you'll look like a twat and I doubt it'll work. Just get your ball and take it where ever you can train and kick it about. A wall is perfect, you can stand all day kicking the ball against the wall with your weaker foot, aiming at a certain spot, curling it, blasting it, side footing it, the more you do the better.

yeah thats what i've been trying to do, but its like my left leg isn't even part of me, i'm gonna just start passing sidefoot and then move on to kicking it with the laces
I used to have a similar problem when I played. I was left fullback because we had no lefties, and my left leg was the best on the team. Like MrD said, just practice off a wall or with some friends and you will gain coordination, power, and control.

Whenever you train of just mess around, just kick the ball with whatever foot you need to. If you see a left footed shot on, then go for it. Same with passing. Also, use both feet to dribble. As the others have said, its just practice.
Thanks for the new sig Deliquent.
