That's not enough information for anyone to really help you. All I can say is that if it's a really oldschool game, download a DOS emulator and play it off that.

closing folding@home (if you have it)
running a virus scan incase something is minimizing it
updating graphics card drivers (To identify the make and model of your card, right click your
Desktop, choose Properties / Settings / Advanced / Adapter. then search for that models drivers on google)

You probably need a better graphics card and more RAM.

Right click the Exe file, Compatability Tab. Set it to, Compatible for 95.
