Should we change the video games section to..

The video games section should also be merged into a tech section? For general computer hardware talk, or all those computer problems we face.

It just seems like the video games section is going to waste, it's not being used to it's optimum.

It makes sense when you're talking about graphics cards or something, but I don't want the video games forum to be filled with "how do I get rid of this virus" type posts.

Yes, it would be nice to have a place to talk about computer problems and tech stuff. It would fit here well with the gamer geeks. Those kind of threads pop up everywhere all the time and get spammed with jokes when they are in forums like e/n.
