Carolina over Baltimore- Baltimore is on a short week, and the Panthers have been playing as expected for the last few weeks. And if you look at McNair's numbers, he's really no better than Boller or any other QB the Ravens have had. I'm no longer sold on them.
Giants over Atlanta- I have a feeling that the Giants will play a game with both offense and defense for once... but it's only a feeling.
Philadelphia over New Orleans- I'm pretty much basing this one off my hatred for the Saints.
St. Louis over Seattle- I'm picking the home team here, plus Bulger is playing really well. The Seahawks always seem to struggle in this game, so why go against the grain here?
Pittsburgh over Kansas City- This one is pretty much based on home field advantage. The Steelers were humiliated (or solidly beaten if you don't like that term) or national TV, so they will be looking to rebound.

Seahawks are coming off their bye week and theyre the better team. I will bet you my first born daughter (whenever that day comes...) that the seahawks will win.
what is your wager?

* Carolina - Baltimore has a good D, but Carolina's defense is better than the Ravens offense.
* Giants - Giants are good at stopping the run and will this weekend. Vick + passing = Nope.
* Philadelphia - I still can't take the Saints seriously...
* St. Louis - Upset? The Rams have one of the best offenses atm. The Seahawks aren't impressive right now imo.
* Pittsburgh - Both have been dissappointing, but I think the Steelers will come back at home.

The Rams are improving while the Seahawks are going backwards. And the game is in St. Louis.
All I've got right now is this box of one dozen starving crazed weasels.
Is the bet on?

I think St Louis over Seattle is the upset of the week, Jackson is red hot and I dont know if Seattles corners can handle the trio of Holt/Bruce/Curtis, plus these 2 teams always fight eachother hard so it'll be good.

I'm surprised you all think the Chiefs have a good chance against the Steelers...
Also, I think the Dolphins/Jets game is a tougher one to call than most of those.

Our entire team is in a slump, Porter is out (but that could end up being a good thing though), Ben still might not be right, and KCs defense has been performing recently regardless of the competition, it's hard to shut anyone out.
I still think the Steelers will win but I can see a 24-16 sort of thing.

Yeah but the interest level is...pretty low on that one.

Whatever floats your boat...Close matches usualy make it easier for me to stay awake is my logic.

Harder to call, most likely harder to watch as well.

I have the Dolphins beating the Jets....or do I have it the other way? Shit...cant remember haha. It's way too close.
Edit: Yeah I have New York with 3 confidence points towards it.

carolina, giants, phily, seattle, pittsburgh
ravens have no offense and if steve smith and the panthers carved up the bears defense in last years playoffs, they can do it do the ravens
giants, not gona lie im a little biased, HOWEVer, as wutang stated be4 the one thing the giants have been consistent with is stuffing the run, im expecting that to happen and i think the offense should have a good game
philly is lookin too good this year (despite the lack of competition thus far) but i think the saints 4-1 makes them look much better than they actuallly are, philly shouldnt have a problem mcnabbs on fire
idk st lous is having a good year but im just thinkin seattle who the hell are the rams anyway
pittsburgh. serious rebound game, if they lose their fucked and they know it. Ben looked better last week im thinkin hell look even better yet this sunday.

Based on what Pittsburgh has been doing the last three games I just don't think we'll win, especially if we play like we did last week and abandon the field in the second half. If we do that this week LJ will probably rush all over the field.
It's one of those things where I desperately hope and want my team to win but just have a feeling they won't. Still not taking off the Ben jersey though.

LJ is the least of our worries my friend. Sadly Huard is more of a threat to us than LJ.

Finally someone gets it.
Although i havent said it here, LJ has been not good. His rushing has been pathetic even though he has 80+ ypg on about 300,000 carries so far this year. YPC is pathetic for a 2000 yard rusher and the only saving grace he has is his monster rec. numbers, which came a bit as a surprise. And thats probably because huard just uses him as dump off guy.
I dont see how his numbers willget a lot better.
Also, i had a dream the seahawks lost to the packers... so maybe the hawks will lose..

Even if LJ was the same calibure RB he looked last season, we always handle big name RB's pretty well regardless of how pathetic we look on both sides of the ball, we managed LT to have little effect on us and fuckin Rivers killed us, hopefully it's not a repeat this week.

Chiefs have a horrible defence, you guys will pass all over them. And get some big running plays

3-2 (barring a Chiefs comeback), my worst week yet. At least the two games I had wrong came down to last second field goals.

Haha, they have a horrible defense, we'll pass and run all over them, yet you picked against them, someone is losing fucking ground here. Did you post this message during halftime?
And they were ranked fourth in the league, not so horrible.

The only reason i pick teams in those polls is to see the results.. i hardly ever take the time to think who i pick. And i posted it when it was 14-0
Was i right? If your gonna keep listening to everything espn.com writes then you wont know shit about football, if you actually thought they had the 4th best defence in the league you are retarded.

Whoa, bold prediction, you predicted we'd run and pass all over them after a 14-0 lead, smooth.
I dont listen to any experts, it's pointless, I wont take your approach. I know they didnt have the fourth best defense, but it was still to be reckoned with. They shut out the 49ers (Niners 12th in scoring) PLUS shutting out ANYONE is hard to do, they played Denver with a wicked run game, Arizona with a wicked passing game, and even held their own against the Bengals, the defense was ranked fourth in the league in passing against some good passing teams, so dont be running that cesspool you call a mouth to me about "reading shit off of ESPN", and take time to learn some things for yourself.
