View Full Version : Is there a way to download flash movies?

I know there has to be a way to download flash movies from like You Tube, Myspace, and Bolt.com. But I don't know what program to use. Any suggestions? It's just so I can show my buddy that has dial up, otherwise it takes ages on his compy.

yeah the sites are ok, but just download firefox and then right click somewhere on the site and then go to view page info, look for the flash file, click save media as...

that doesn't always work frog some videos such as .FLV are hidden so I use these

They aren't specifically talking about the flash videos on ebaumsworld, but on youtube, google video, bolt, etc. Those sites don't usually provide a download link.

Every time you watch a flash it's downloaded to your computer in the temporary internet files folder. Though theres programs (as mentioned above) that will make it easier to retrieve them.

If you look in the source code of the page that's playing the flash you should see referance to a ".swf" file. Type it in directly into your browser and save the page :)

Most the the main sites in question embed those files, so looking at the source is rather pointless.

If you take 10 seconds opposed to 5 you could find it quickly nontheless ;)
