He may have been a good member, but for some reason, he thought had to go against the mods, as if he wanted to become a martyr. He got upset a member in the music section was banned and he thought this section needed to be autonomous and didn't need mods enforcing the rules. He wasn't the one banned and he got upset about it. He was told the situation, he insisted the mods stay out of this section and started a mini crusade by flaming the mods. He was warned to calm down and accept the fact all sections are under mod enforcement. He went on and on, flamed the mods. Was temporarily banned, came back and kept flaming. Was temp banned a little longer, but decided he didn't want to be a member on the forum and created multiple accounts, knowing that breaking that rule gets automatic permanent banning. The crusade is over, those who want to follow his footsteps off the cliff are welcomed to do so. Here is our first volunteer...

Yeah I'll add that there Reggie PM'd unsolicited and stated that he could do what ever he wanted in that section no matter what the Mods say… well you can… anyone can… you just have to deal with the consequences of your actions.

The rules in here were made up by posters; they were set up to protect our community and the integrity of the posters and the content they post.

Reggie worked hard to be a martyr it was pretty clear from the get go he wanted a ‘Death by Mod’. I tried very hard to re-direct that from occurring but his intention from the get go was to get banned. I passed on the PM's to other Mods right away, it sad but poeple do this kinda stuff sometimes. He wanted the attention from appearing like he went down for some values he stood up for….. he never once got banned for his values, he got perm banned for making multiple accounts.

He got temp banned for breaking rules after he was given warnings, and PMing me instigating conflicts. That’s not going out for what you believe in that’s trying to get knocked out and give the appearance that you is doing something on a higher moral ground. I feel bad for the fools that bought into that. People do not get banned for their beliefs; they get banned for breaking rules. Rules that posters value and have asked us the Mods to maintain.

I said on time long ago, if we Mods have to do our job it because the posters have failed to theirs. This is your forum as much as anyone else’s take care of it, encourage others to respect it, have fun with it, just don’t abuse it or pollute it. Value being here and each other. If not find another place that meets your needs. But 61,711+ people post here for a reason. Be part of that reason.
