1. Chicago Bears - last week #1
A win is a win, yes this team should be 5-1, but that's not what it says in the standings, they pulled it out and remain on top.
2. Indianapolis Colts - last week #2
No use in moving them anywhere else until they are beaten.
3. Denver Broncos - last week #3
No use in moving them as well, their defense continues to show they are for real, Jake Plummer really needs to start getting something going though.
4. San Diego Chargers - last week #6
Rivers had another good game, LT had 4 touchdowns, and they should be unbeaten.
5. New England Patriots - last week #4
The Chargers made them drop one due to their BYE but Brady and the Patriots stay in the top 5.
6. Carolina Panthers - last week #8
Big win over the Ravens, if not for a horseshoe up Bllers ass this game wouldnt even have been close, they are back, and they're scary.
7. New Orleans Saints - last week Not Ranked
What's going on with this team? The defense doesnt look too good on paper and Reggie Bush is struggling (Although he's the only RB in the league that the stat sheet shows ALL PURPOSE YARDS to make it look like he did something), but Brees is showing why he's a top quarterback.
8. Philadelphia Eagles - last week #5
Had a lead against the Saints in the fourth quarter but Brees put on the showing of his life, they're still a top ranked team, and still lead the division.
9. Seattle Seahawks - Last week Not Ranked
Big division win over the Rams who always play them hard, Hasselbeck had a good game and they're back on top of the division.
10. Atlanta Falcons - last week #7
Well, they got spanked by the Giants, Vick still cant pass, but they still have a good defense and a dynamite run game.
Bottom 5
1. Oakland Raiders
2. Detroit Lions
3. Cleveland Browns
4. Miami Dolphins
5. Tennessee Titans

I think the Falcons and Pats are a little high, but I agree with the rest of the list. I can't wait until the Broncos play the Chargers.

If the Falcons lose this weekend they'll be dropping big time.

Where are the Giants?
Nick is cool

Pretty good list, its hard to make a real accurate list because anything can happen, look at the bears and cards game.
But i dont think titans should be in the bottom 5 after beating the skins

Where are the Giants?
I have them at 11, even if they beat the Falcons they wont be putting up 200+ rushing yards like the Falcons have been doing every week, plus regardless of the game I still believe the Falcons have the better defense. Manning still doesnt look the same as he did last season, but it was still a good win for the Giants, I'm just not sold on them yet, if they beat Dallas I assure you they'll be up there.

the dolphins may suck, but no way are they worse than the raiders.
good list, though

My top five:
1. Bears- By winning that game, I think they can win any game.
2. Chargers- I still think they have the most talent in the NFL, and they're getting better with each week.
3. Colts- They haven't lost yet, and they can only play better.
4. Broncos- The best defense in the NFL. That's right.
5. Giants- This is a stretch, but I think they're only going to get better as the season moves on.

That's why the Raiders are the #1 worst team.
And to answer about Tennessee..
Tampa beat Cinci, Arizona should have beat the Bears, David Carr is doing good with the Texans, so Tennessee should definitely be the 5th worst team after Week 6.

Seeing as how I watch a lot of Football, I'll add my 2 cents here:
1. Chicago Bears : 6-0 and aside from the Lions stealing their uniforms against the Cardinals, they've dominated. I never take too much stock in a single game.
2. Indianapolis Colts : 5-0 they'll soon be off this list... There's no way the worst rushing defense in Football should be here, especially since they've played two opponents with WEAK running games to boot (Houston and NY Jets). Peyton Manning, Marvin Harrison and Reggie Wayne are what keeps them going.
3. Denver Broncos : 4-1 I think I could run for 1000+ yards on this team. Jake Plummer hasn't been quite as good this year but it doesn't matter. They'll be the AFC West Champs this year
4. New England Patriots : 4-1 Soon to be up to #2. They've won this year despite the poor performance of Tom Brady, don't expect that to last. The best 1-2 punch in power runningbacks in the NFL will continue to rack up rushing yards. The only thing missing is the star #1 receiver, but then again, they didn't have one of those for any of their super bowls.
5. San Diego Chargers : 4-1 The team I'm most skeptical of. One question and only one question keeps me from declaring them the probable super bowl favorites for this year, Phillip Rivers. It's his first year as a starter and although I don't doubt they'll make the playoffs, I doubt his ability to win under that pressure. LT, Gates and the Defense will keep them High on peoples radar throughout the year.
6. New Orleans Saints : 5-1 Wow how Miami fans must be pissed to see Drew Brees in the black & gold... This team could be the surprise of the year, keep an eye on Deuce McAllister with Bush on his tails.
7. Carolina Panthers : 4-2 (4-0 since Smith returned) In my opinion, the 2nd best QB in the NFL for their team (Brady #1). Not that Delhomme's going to be the MVP but he wont lose games. Steve Smith could win the MVP this year, he's that good.
8. Seattle Seahawks : 4-1 I'm awful hesitant to put them here but the addition of Deion Branch to their already good receiving corps will help Hasselbeck. The story with the Seahawks is, can their defense hold up? If they can, see you at Super Bowl 41.
9. Baltimore Ravens : 4-2 How can you not include a team with that good of a defense? If they get into the playoffs, watch out!
10. Philadelphia Eagles : 4-2 Good all around team. We'll see how they hold up through the year, if McNabb and Westbrook remain injury free, they'll be good.
Bottom 5
28. Tenessee : Recovering, but not quite there yet
29. Arizona : Now that Warner's out as starter, they'll win 5 games
30. Detroit : Why does Matt Millen still have a job??? Why?
31. Cleveland : Romeo Crenell is a defensive genious, but he needs players.
32. Oakland : Perfect Season awaits 0-16

I can see Portis running wild on them but I still dont think they can pull it off. It would be cool if they did though.

I love how people put the Eagles and Falcons ahead of the Giants even though they beat them at their own stadiums. We've played nothing but tough teams this year so far.

espn and everyone did the same thing last year all the way up until we won the division, for some reason no1 ever thinks the giants will win. Thats why i quit caring about power polls

And Tennessee beat Washington but they dont rank Tennessee over Washington do they?
Besides, fourth quarter miracles arent often, you guys fought your hearts out against the Eagles, but the Eagles as well choked it away, the Eagles are still the better team.

Yeah and that's all they beat. We've lost to two teams, Colts and the Seahawks. Two of arguably the best teams in the nfl. We've beat the skins, falcons, and eagles. All high quality teams. (except the skins are doing poorly, but they still have star players)
The Eagles have beat...the Cowboys. That's it. Give it time.

And should have beat the Giants. The fact of the matter is though even if they did beat them, the Eagles are still on top of the division, which is a reason why they are ranked higher. They have the #1 passer and MVP runner and granted the Giants have had much for fierce competition, but Power Rankings arent about who had the harder schedule.
If you want to look at it like that, who have the Bears beat? Seattle, yes, one good team, and should have lost to Arizona, yet they are ranked #1 on about 98% of all Power Rankings.
