Im getting a car soon and i want speakers for it,maybe like 100 watt(good sound ,not RMS).What Do I Need For It:Speakers,Amp,How To Hook Up....I Only Need Like 2 Speakers And A Subwoofer....Send Me A Link Off Ebay Or Sumthing If You Find Good Ones..And Would A 400 Watt Amp Work With 100 Watt Speakers Without Blowing Them Out?
thanks

Anyone in the know will tell you you're far more likely to cause damage to your speakers if you run them with an amp that isn't powerful enough. Don't get an amp that's hugely more powerful than your speakers or that extra power (and the money you spent for it) is wasted, but a little headroom is a good thing, plus it can come in handy if you decide to upgrade your speakers later down the road.

Basically with the kit you've listed the bear minumum you need is a headunit (to run the speakers), speakers, mono or bridged 2 channel amp (for sub) and the sub. If your headunit is factory, then it might be wise to invest in something better - something with more features and probably more power. You could also consider getting a 2 channel amp for your pair of speakers.

One last thing about power ratings. The cheapo, bargain basement companies advertise their products with silly figures sometimes, just coz they look impressive on the box. It doesn't matter to them that, that figure was obtained from a short power spike during testing and isn't a true indication of their product's true capabilities. Go with good manufacturers and you'll always get what it says on the box.

Are you in the UK/USA/somewhere else? If you're in the UK I can obviously be of more use coz I know the market better.

usa,if u go on ebay that translate the amount over so if u show me somthing i can still buy it from the uk,or if u show a porduct in general the may sell it here too.

this seems ok:
