GTA:SA - N.O.E. Seriously, this one is a huge pain in the ass. I actually pulled something in my hand doing this fucking thing and couldn't play for three days. I had to fly under radar, which meant flying dangerously close to the ground. On top of that, you have to pass over the mountains. Yes, the mountains covered with tall trees that can blow up your plane on contact.

I know that one, its the one where your R-one-oh-seven, the crappiest character that lived, and you had to find your batteries. I got so fucking close once, I got outside, but then I think there are a bunch of R-108s with fucking rocket launchers. I died, and sat there for 30 seconds, then my exploded.

The Tirpitz level in Call Of Duty. It just seemed rushed to me and not very exciting. In multiplayer its even worse. Hardly anywhere to hide, corridors are confusing to navigate, and the upper superstructure is a haven for sniper n00bs.

Every one of those remote control airplane levels made me want to commit suicide. I hadn't thrown my controller in frustration that much since playing Street Fighter II on Sega Genesis on the hardest difficulty.

The very last level in Starcraft of the Protoss campaign. Jesus Christ that level was tough as shit.

Managing both Protoss and Terran bases and having to build up a big enough force to destroy the Overmind which takes up the entire central part of the map. That level took me for-fucking-ever to beat, and so many attack waves.

Every RC Helicopter mission in GTA: SA pissed me off. Especially the last one where you have to escort that dude's RC car by destroying enemy RC vehicles and removing obstacles in its path. :banghead:

Sugarman in X-men Legends II: Rise of Apocalypse was horribly overpowered, MUCH tougher than Apocalypse himself.

Getting an S ranking for the Whiskey Corridor and Stonehenge levels in Ace Combat 4.

Finding Nagase in Ace Combat 5 with the crappy radio receiver.

Beating Pixy in Ace Combat 0. Whenever you hit him with two missile he switches his SP weapon. His first SPW is a lazor that can aim in any direction and is a one-hit-kill weapon. Then comes the burst missiles that have a massive blast radius. Finally he has a ECM device, and you have to shoot him in the engine intakes. He also flys a Morgan superplane on steroids, which is faster and more manuverable than any other plane you can buy including the Morgan, FALKEN, and X-02 (the best planes in the game).

That POS level in American Underground. You have to start by doing a spine transfer off a roof onto a ramp, do a manual, go from the manual into another spine transfer onto another ramp, and then repeat twice more. I felt like kicking the damn disc halfway across the continent. And I would have, had it not been a rented game

THE GOD DAMN DREAM SEQUENCES IN MAX PAYNE!

Yes

So damn annoying. I did find that it was much easier if you adjusted the brightness on the TV to its highest setting, it was easier to see other blood paths in the distance.

A particularly hard part of a game that comes to mind is the part in Onimusha Warlords where you have to do the water prison puzzle. HOURS spent trying to figure that one out.....

I've played so many annoying things, but nothing I believe was worse than in God of War. You're in hell and you have to climb up those towers with the moving blades. HOLY FUCKING SHIT, that was the most frustrating thing ever. Almost impossible to fucking climb ~.~; I'm amazed I beat the game.

Fuck, I hated the water temple in Zelda: Ocarina Of Time.

Things that pissed me off about it:

The fact that you have to keep changing the water levels every step you fucking take.

You have to change your regular boots to your iron boots every 2 fucking seconds.

You have these little fucking metals balls with spikes underwater, so you go above water, just when you think you're safe, one of those fucking spiders that are able to jump around on the surface of the water will pop out of fucking left field and attack you.

You have to use your god-damn hookshot about 6 times in every room in the temple.

But it's a solid game though.

I thought Halo(the second level in Halo 1) is the hardest, you're severly outgunned and you don't have a shotgun, so killing mulitiple Elites is impossible without excellent gernade tossing skills and the ability to evade and hide. "Gorilla Tactics" if you would say.

No, a retard would say "Gorilla Tactics", I would say guerrilla tactics.

F-Zero GX's developer track race in the story mode. You have to beat the ghost's time during the race, but that's the easy part. The hard part is actually getting through the track, no walls the entire length, and a few hairpin turns. I couldn't even tell you how many hours I put into getting through that thing. Total bitch.

Hell, almost all of those story mode races were a royal pain. And that's only on normal mode. Never got through hard or expert.

The level of frustration, and the resulting satisfaction involved after completing it; I hadn't felt that great about a game for a long time. Great game.

SNES Battletoads-The fucking "snake maze"

From Wiki.

"Battletoads is extremely challenging; it is notorious among NES games for its brutal difficulty and quick deaths. It requires a great deal of skill, practice and memory. Because of its mix of race levels, high-speed obstacle courses, and dangerous instant-kill obstacles and monsters, it requires a broad base of skills which makes the game very difficult to beat. Although Battletoads is classifiable as a side-scrolling fighting game, the monsters the player defeats through brute force are much less challenging than the obstacles and instant-death traps the player must avoid.

Two features did reduce the otherwise crippling difficulty of the game. In the second level, a quick player could gain multiple lives by repeatedly hitting defeated enemies before they fell offscreen; thus a skilled player could build up a store of ten or more lives to spend in future levels. Second, there were several "warp points" scattered throughout the game that let the player skip ahead two levels. A knowledgeable player could avoid approximately half of the levels in the game through judicious use of warp points.

Despite these concessions to the player, Battletoads has a reputation as being virtually impossible to finish, even among hardcore gamers. Even defeating the game with a Game Genie may garner respect from those who remember the game."
