View Full Version : Anyone ever see a Movie Voice soundboard?

You know, the "this summer..." voice thats on all the trailers(the guys name is Don Lafontaine). Been trying to find one with no luck. Anyone even come across one?

that really is a great idea. Would be a lot of work though, sorting through a ton of trailers.

Sounds like a great idea. I haven't the time for this myself, but here's a handly tip: look for trailers in 5.1 on DVDs. Often the voice-over is in the center channel only, so you can perhaps isolate it better. Use a DVD audio ripper like DVD Audio Extractor to rip them, saving each channel to a separate file. The center is always channel 3.

I can't see it working too well. I mean I bet that guy never says many decent insults. Plus he probably never ask any decent questions, or even says good morning or hello or shit like that.
Yes it is a good idea, but it will take a hell of a lot of work to find the right sounds - that's assuming they even exist at all.
