I can see camping for a console if you're actually going to play it and keep it in your home, but if you're just hanging out so you can make a quick buck on eBay then go get a fucking job.

Quitting your job to get a gaming console is retarded. Good luck affording games without any income.

I'm selling my preorder, $250+ an hour, yeah that's so stupid....... If someone quits their job because of a ps3 then they aren't really quitting their job because of a ps3 if you catch my drift. Believe it or not, but selling on Ebay is a job for alot people. Not mine might I add, though it would be a pretty good job if it was. It's a business just like anything else where you are your own boss and work from home, I know it's terrible. If they are selling it on Ebay which is more than likely than they won't need to afford games.

P.S. You sound like a nosey bitch, but thanks for sharing the baby pictures.

come one every one is buying a ps3 to resale it on ebay. I mean seriously have you met 1 person who wants one to have one? Every one is going to get one and every one is going to resale it on ebay then those bastards are going to resale it around X-mas time for more $$$ then when ever those lazy japs get the rest of the ps3 here there still going to be some more floating around on ebay for lord knows how much. Honestly no one is getting a ps3 the wii is gonig to actually sale ><

In my workplace, there are zero people planning to get a PS3. One guy has a friend that's camping out tonight for one, which he plans to resell so he can get a 360 later.

One guy has a 360 already. As for the rest? Well, there's at least six people planning to get a Wii (including me) that I know of, and I'm sure there's more.

On a side note, I work in a hospital pharmacy. Three people intend to get a Wii for themselves, while the other three are getting it for their kids (but one of the latter is really interested in playing it).

The Wii is going to sell great. It might be Nintendo's first real successful console since the SNES. And everyone's interested in it.

I think I may have finally figured out why as well.... the controllers. Now, I know that the word "duh" may come to mind at this point, but hear me out:

You ever watch a grandfather try to play an XBox or a PS2? They take one look at the controllers, and the first thing that comes to mind is "All those buttons?" Now some of those older people might truly be interested in games, but simply get frusterated with controllers that have more buttons than we have fingers.

Now, with our Wii-mote, we have just a few buttons, and most games don't even utilize all of those. Now, when you play a game, instead of figuring out which combination of buttons to press to pull of a particular move, you simply do that particular move with the wiimote in hand. Instead of lining up your ball, adjusting your footing, timing your button presses to maximize the power in your bowl, than tapping a shoulder button to adjust the spin; you simply make a bowling gesture with the wii-mote in hand, and give a slight twist of your wrist to add a spin to the ball.

Genius.

---

Oh, and as a side note. The type of precision displayed with the wii-mote in a bowling minigame is not achievable with the PS3's gyroscopic controller. I'm not saying this as a way to flame the PS3. I'm instead showing how much work Nintendo is putting into their games when it comes to the wii-mote.

I'm extremely excited about this generation of the Nintendo console. And my nipples become steel piercingly hard just thinking about what the next console will do.
