How do you think the console-camping will go in a 24-hour Wal-Mart? Do you just stand in a line near the electronics section? This is what I plan to do for the Wii.

Dont they sell tents, and have them on display?
Stores should just make a policy where you can't wait outside the store until 2 hours before the doors open. If there is a guy willing to wait outside for a week, more will see and start too.

But this is a 24-hour Wal-Mart so I would be waiting inside. Maybe I will grab some lawn chairs and drinks and remote control cars and bikes.

they're not allowing camping inside the store. the walmarts i've gone to just today are 24 hour wallies, and everyone camping out for ps3s are all waiting outside in the cold in their little chairs. at target its first come first serve. they're already camping outside as well but on the release date the first people in line will receive tickets confirming that they were the first in line and won't miss out on getting a ps3. those that don't get a ticket will just have to go home with their heads down in shame.

I believe you wait in the layaway department which is usually right next to the electronics at walmart. You will probably only have to wait a few hours since there are so many though.

I just passed Wal-Mart today and people were camping outside for the PS3, so you all are right. So do I just stand out there on Saturday and alert them that I am out there and then they will give me a ticket or something?
