I'm kind of bored and I was thinking about playing my NES for a bit, maybe even let Lalito mash some buttons for fun, though he still wouldn't get it, but I thought I'd post this thread:

Keep in mind that these questions apply only the the NES. Not SNES, not SEGA, just NES.
Favorite NES Game:

Hardest NES Game:

Easiest NES Game:

List five really fun games:

Game you would play again and again:

Game you would never touch again:

Best multiplayer game:

First game you ever played:

Best franchise:

Most revolutionary/influential game:

Do you still own your NES, and does it work?

Lastly, leave your impressions of the NES:
If you quote this and remove the quote tags, all of the "questions" are already tagged bold.

Okay here are my responses:

Favorite NES Game: Dragon Warrior, the original

Hardest NES Game: Blaster Master

Easiest NES Game: Pipe Dream

List five really fun games: Tetris, Tetris II, Legend of Zelda, Dragon Warrior, Bases Loaded 2.

Game you would play again and again: Dragon Warrior and Legend of Zelda

Game you would never touch again: Wrestlemania ... I didn't like how the loser appeared to just die while the other guy could continue to beat him up. My sensitive mind didn't like that. :(

Best multiplayer game: Jeopardy!

First game you ever played: Super Mario Bros. (w/Duck Hunt)

Best franchise: Tie; Zelda and Final Fantasy. Love them both equally.

Most revolutionary/influential game: Whatever the first "official" RPG was. Led the way for some great RPGs to come.

Do you still own your NES, and does it work? Yes, but you have to mess with it a bit to get the game to start.

Lastly, leave your impressions of the NES: I loved it when it came out, and my brothers and I spent hours playing it and arguing over who got to play it next. Those were back in the days when we had to ask our mom if we could play. :) That was just great fun and I hope that my kids can appreciate it as much as I do, even though it's so primitive.

I will never own that game, it's stupid. Wow, it's so entertaining to beat virtual guys up and steal virtual cars. GTA is overrated.

Bases Loaded 2 was the best baseball game on the NES easily. It is far too underated. I could take anyone on with my Jersey team in that game and win by run rule in the 5th.

GTA has become overrated. But GTA 3 did something that hadn't been done before. It created a living, breathing city. Since it's conception, it's only gotten better. But it's also become "the thing to do" in games. So, yes.. GTA is now over rated, but not by much.

Yes, beating people and stealing cars is fun. Just as twisting falling blocks and placing them is fun, and stomping on evil mushrooms and turtles is fun.

I'll answer the questions later, I need to leave now, but I just wanted to say, North and South is by far the best multiplayer game on the NES. That is all.
