Wii online

Ok, I plan on getting the Wii sunday, but I read somewhere that the Wii won't be online yet. But other places ive read it will be online right out of the box. I really need a confirmation . Because I doubt Ill have money for Zelda, and Id want to play wii sports Thanksgiving week.

Anyone have the skinny?

wii sports isnt online anyway, and neither is zelda, so unless you really need to check the news or weather, dont sweat it.

Nintendo did confirm that 12 Virtual Console games would be available on launch day, including Donkey Kong, SimCity, Super Mario 64, Sonic the Hedgehog and Bomberman '93. The release also confirmed that new VC content would be released every Monday and established pricing for Genesis and Turbo-Grafx games at 800 points ($8) and 600 points ($6) respectively.
