Here's the deal. Amazon.com is putting up 4 products up for vote to have their prices reduced drastically on Thanksgiving Day. One of the products up for vote is the Xbox 360 Core System and if it wins 1,000 units will be up for sale for $100.
How to vote:
Go to Amazon.com (http://www.amazon.com) and create an account.
Go back to the Amazon.com front page and on the right you'll see a box with a red outline. Vote for the 360.
Voting ends on Tuesday and the winning product will be announced on Wednesday. Like I said, it'll go on sale for the reduced price on Thanksgiving Day, but only 1,000 Xbox's will be up for sale.
The Xbox has more than 80% of the vote right now and you know it's gonna win.
Sure, it's only the core system, I.E. no hard drive, but it's still a hell of a deal.

Wow. I'm definately thinking about buying into this .. it if it gets down to 100 dollars.
Especially if my current xbox(launch 360) decides to die on me.

I am going to wait on Amazon refreshing for five minutes until I can buy it.
I planned on getting one for Christmas anyway. That, plus a HDD and HDYV cables equals about $240. Good deal. I don't give a shit about wireless controllers.

Considering the fact that they are only selling 1000 of them, your chances of actually getting one is pretty slim.

It's the core system. :( If I'm going to buy the 360, I'm buying the works.

If you got everything with it off Amazon, it was still way cheaper than the premium.
Anyways, I tried myself.....under a minute that thing was long gone.

I was at my girlfriend's uncle's house, and he hooked me up with his blazing dial-up connection. I didn't get one.
Okay, maybe it wasn't dial-up, but it was still slow as hell. And with all the traffic amazon was getting, The page didn't even refresh 'til 10 minutes after they went on sale. Therefore, I have declared a vendetta against my girlfriend and her uncle. And his computer.

Meh, wireless controllers. Never been impressed with them. Wired controllers are fine by me. Heck, wired mouse, wired keyboard. All good.
Wired router too in fact.
