Alright I have a question about the xbox 360

Im thinking about asking for one for christmas, but the core set does not come with the 20 gb hard drive

Will I still be able to save a good amount of games and music and stuff?

I dont really want anyone to spend that much money on me

spend some of your own money and get the premium package, you don't have to make them pay for it all

no, that was my only suggestion, since i just waited until i had enough money to get the premium package. i suggest you do the same i.e. ask for it as a combined birthday/christmas present

you pretty much need the 20gb hard drive so at least get that with your own money if you get given the core package

I would do that if my birthday wasnt 5 months ago

Im 15 too and thinking about getting a 360 for christmas aswell and my birthday is in July. The only package i'd get would be premium, so i'll be quite expensive. But i might just get the 360 for Christmas then not get anything 'big' for my Birthday

I just sold my dirtbike for the money, and used it to buy a premium 360.

You have something like that to sell?

ha! I was working 28hr weeks at Coney Island washing dishes at 15yrs. I saved for a year and bought myself a very nice car. You should do the same, now I am 20 with a lot of equity. But still, I am waiting for 360 to go down to $300 before I buy one :bigwink: But then videogames arn't so important for me.

Everywhere I go they say That I have to be 16 1/2 or 17 to get a job there, I am gonna try boders though.

And no I dont have anything to sell except my comp which Im definitly not selling.

I have a ps2 but thats worth a little now, and granny would be mad >=(

You don't need one.

But if you get the Premium package you get the:
Wireless Controller
Headset
Hexic HD
HDD
And something else I can't remember

The Premium is well worth it.

Does it snow where you live?

If so, than borrow a few bucks to get a snow shovel, and shovel people's driveways for five bucks a pop. It'll suck at first, but it's good exercise, and it should only take 15 minutes a driveway. Wanna make them really happy, so that they might be interested in your help again? Do their sidewalk for free.

You'd be netting around 15 bucks an hour (actual work time) if you do both the driveway and sidewalk, and it's tax free.

You'd easily be able to get a couple hundred in a week if you live in a decent neighborhood.

Of course, if you live in florida, you're fucked.

Edit:

XBox 360 core has no storage space. If you get a core system, you'll need to get a hard drive too.

Hrm, ask around than. If you're willing to work for some spare cash, you'd be amazed at who'd give you something to do. A family member. A neighbor. A friend's parents. Ask them what they want you to do, and negotiate a price. Go for about 10 bucks an hour, decent pay for manual labor.

I'd go for family first. Got a grandma around? They're real suckers for that kinda thing. She'll probably offer you 15 bucks, than pay you 20. Keep it up enough, you might even get the premium system for christmas anyways, than have a couple hundred to spend on games.

Buttering people up with hard work around the holidays always works out.
