Your Top Five PS2 Games of all time

Pretty much the title sums it all up. Tell me what you thought were the best titles that came up for the PS2.

Too many to think of off the top of my head... here are a few I think are best....

Metal gear solid 3, Metal gear solid 2, Kingdom hearts, God of war, Final Fantasy X, ummm..... not sure what else...

Dynasty Warriors- It was cool when it was new. I really enjoyed the whole slaughtering hordes and hordes of enemies. But after seeing the same thing rehashed four more times..... I lost hope of seeing it expanding into something new again.

Katamari- They took a completely crazy idea, and made it fun. Nothing like starting with a bowling ball, and ending up with the friggin moon.

Guitar Hero- Awesomesauce, need I say more?

Red Faction- Let's face it. At the time, it was awesome. Now that it's been around for awhile, we make jokes about it. But the geomod was really cool stuff.

Metal Gear Solid 2- I know, the hours upon hours of cutscenes. But the game was cool. We all played it, we all loved it.


They might not be all exclusive, but they're all the most memorable for me.

That is the one reason why I wish I had a PS2 right now. I want to play that game so bad. It would probably fall right behind Twilight Princess on my must play list.

I've come to the conclusion though, that I probably won't get a chance for awhile.

It's not a bad game. Not by far. But it is more of the same ol same ol. It does the type of stuff we've seen many a time before. The only difference is the style it does it with. God of War doesn't pull any punches. You can actually pick a person up, and rip them in half with your bare hands... now that I think about it.. the violence and boobs are probably what makes the game so great in so many eyes.

About VF4, it is hella good (good characters, good playing modes) but its just a matter of taste as to what fighting game you like more. Plus you get to customize your fighter

And about GH, its a game where you have a special guitar shaped controller with buttons on the fretboard and you have to hit the buttons in sync with the music(kinda like frequency)

Haha, pretty much exactly the same as me, although I would take out kingdom hearts and put in Shadow Of collosus.
