in conclusion,

-Resistence is the obvious must-have launch title
- if you like sports stick to the 2k franchise for the ps3
-don't buy project 8 for ps3, it's framerate is bad and no online, 360 version is better
-call of duty 3 ps3 port is worse, bad framerate wittles away at the great game, 360 port is better
- madden and tiger woods are equal ports to the 360, just a matter of preferation
-don't buy the japanese games, they suck hahah.
-don't buy off ebay....hideous prices

I have TH Project 8 for the PS3, and yeah, it does lag quite a bit sometimes. It's not all of the time though, usually when it has to load a big landscape. But when it does, sometimes it can be unplayable for almost 5 seconds! This happens rarely though, and most of the time it isn't a problem. Wikipedia said that both ports may be getting an update soon.

No online pissed me off because I was looking forward to it. The 360 and PS3 graphics are about the same, so If you have a 360, get that one instead.

it's probably because they rushed the port, obviously it's not the hardware, it's a shame they didn't spend more time on the port.

reminds me of the awful framerate for quake 4 on the 360.

sounds a bit right, unfortunately that is a big problem with the first gen blu ray drives, but i'm sure as time goes on it will significantly be improved. I know HD-DVD likes to point that out, seeing as how HD-DVD runs at much faster drive speeds.

You forgot Wangan Midnight 3 for PS3, gonna be freaking awesome and the only real reason why you would buy a PS3 in my opinion (that and Metal Gear Solid).
