Everyone go get this album, NOW. It is so awesome. It's pretty much a bunch of Beatles' hits with a lot of them mixed a little bit different. Same songs, just a little different sounding. The sound quality is also a lot better, you can hear even more cool shit in the background (you can with old recordings too, just not as good).

Go check it out now, I vouch for it's awesomeness.

I just read an interview about how Liam and Noel from Oasis listened to it and turned it off halfway through because it sucked so bad.

Not that im saying i think this, just thought id point that out, ill have to take a look at it sometime.

wow. I said that the first time I heard an oasis CD. Seriously though, you're not really going to take the advice of Noel and Liam? Why do you even have to point that out?

They practically say that about every other band out there. Bunch of average cocksuckers they are.

Yeah, I've stopped listening to those fucks back when they were saying they were the second-coming of the beatles.

Yeah I got it a couple days ago. The quality is one of the main reasons I picked it up. It really is great, like BigMatt said. Its also interesting to see what they did with a few of the songs.

Overall I think that LOVE is a very interesting idea and I mostly thought it was great. The clarity is definitely the best thing about this album, they need to remaster all the original mastertapes soon! The mixes are interesting but definitely hit and miss...Strawberry Fields, Within You, Without You and A Day in the Life were my favourites. Unfortunately the whole "soundscape" doesn't quite gel as an overall experience making it a novelty release more than something to relax to and enjoy.

I agree man. They do need to remaster all the old albums. The intro to "Revolution" on the new Love cd sounds so good. Its so crisp and clear...

Good idea for a gift if you want to get someone into the Bealtes, or a good gift for someone who's a seasoned veteran.

It's just a fresh way of seeing the Beatles, highly recomended for anyone who likes them.

As far as Oasis is concerned, that was probably the most disrespectful thing they could ever say. George Martin is a musical genious, and if Liam and Noel need to make waves by putting down someone with talent (just because theirs vanished in the air) its time to step up and create something better. Maybe they are just a tad frightened that LOVE beat 'Stop the Clocks' in sales on tuesday. The Beatles are more alive today than Oasis has ever been in their career

I agree man. They do need to remaster all the old albums.

Why exactly?

This album was the biggest load of horse shit i've ever heard. 60s music with current production. Strawberry fields forever actually offended me with the shittest medley of bits of random songs stuck on at the end. Really shows the sorry state that music production is in today.

Blackbird/yesterday? So, you put the guitar part at the start of yesterday and sell that as a new track. Completely wrecked most of the songs to be honest.

Don't waste your money, it's a christmas cash in.

What would Lennon say.

The acoustic version of While My Guitar Gently Weeps is awesome.

What would Lennon say.

"That son of a bitch shot me!"

I just downloaded this album, and listened to it the whole way through, and wow, I was impressed.

When I first heard of this album, and how they mixed different beatles songs, I was a little skeptical at first. Before I heard, I seriously had no idea what to expect.
