Mr. Roboto... annoying?

Today I heard the song in its entireity for the first time.. I work at bar/restaurant and there are speakers in the kitchen and they blast music, I found the song to be fun but one of the cooks kept screaming "SECRET SECRET... SECRET SECRET" in this obnoxious voice... after that I found this song to be annoying as shit.

Anyone else annoyed by this song?

its from styx's concept album about this musician Kilroy who was put in jail by anti rock and rollers. he escaped using a shell of a prison worker robot named mr. roboto.

edit : i think that was the original idea for the song, but now people have come up with other meanings like our world becoming too mechanized and one day robots taking over and shit like that.

I'm going to be honest, but the first time I heard it I thought it was meh. But Jesus then everyone started singing the chorus and now I fucking hate that song, not to mention Styx. Come Sail Away pisses me off too, and there's actually an album I'm looking at right now sitting on my CD collection.
