.......lol

Although I do like the Roush Mustang, very cool car.

SO I guess the gist of his opinion was, he doesn't think there are any decent initial car designs over there, but when given a decent base platform to build off, mad shit happens that nobody else even attempts.

Which from my experience seems to ring true. The Twin Turbo Ford GT from a while ago, EIP 600hp R32 Golf, 800bhp Evo's which is just beyond crazy, and didn't soeone say something about a modded Veyron in the pipeline?

This thread is going to be the biggest can of worms ever.

haha, I love that guy and how he bashes every GM car he test drives.

"An interior made of melted down action figures.."

HAHA. Funny but so true.

I almost cried with joy when the guy in the crane destroyed the buick. It literally rips the engine out and crushes it into smitherines.

But that ford GT at the end is fucking crazy. 700 hp... mmmm...

I'm glad he demonstrated the importance of setting up a car too with the two Mustangs head to head. BHP figure means NOTHING on real roads.

It's funny how a horse beat a 4.6L mustang around the oval track.

You have to use an illegal network of bilayered pipeline fiber optic multiredundant decentralized neutrik based downloader thingy.

haha, he seemed to have fun in that noisy, old, unable to be steered mustang. He really liked that roush.

When he brought out the Ford GT, and started ripping on it for using foreign parts (even though he really enjoys the car, as noted by his review on top gear) I was saying to myself, he better mention the X1, then he's all like "they made it better" or some shit, and I was like "fuck yeah!" then that beautiful piece of machinery made its appearence on camera, I went "PSHAAAWWWW", wiped up, then carried on with my day. Love that car.

This year, Clarkson has gone way out west to the United States of America to find out if there really is a decent American car! Watch the wagons roll as Clarkson has a show-down between some of the top American cars with some of the top UK and European cars!

"For my all new DVD I've come to the U.S. of America-land to find out if the country that gave us fast food and the fast buck make a decent fast car? In fact, can they make any decent cars at all?

In my quest, I pitch the best of the West against Europe's finest. The Stig's along for the ride too as we put the BMW Z4M head to head with the mighty Dodge Viper SRT 10. And the little Lotus Exige against a tuned Mustang.

I also put the 200mph Corvette Z06 through its paces alongside the Cadillac XLRV, the Ford GT and its topless cousin, the GT X1.

And then we find out what would happen in a car chase if a big American police cruiser were to set off in pursuit of an Ariel Atom. (This bit's quite short!)

There's science too, as I flood an old Jaguar and a Lincoln with water, tear two Buicks into little pieces, race a Mustang horse against a Mustang car and use high explosives to make my very own Star Spangled banger. Oh, and we discover what happens if you fill Toyota's green machine, the Prius, with a special kind of lead: bullets." - Jeremy Clarkson

I hope everyone enjoys it!

The old Mustang was awesome. Not liking a car, and thinking a car "performs" sub-par are two different things I think.

I love driving an old runabout Mk2 Polo thing at the moment just because it's so old school with none servo brakes etc.

i started watching it and i was so god damn pumped because i love top gear. then i got to watching it and i was excited over the cars and all wooo hoooo and shit. but then i just got bored of him bashing all these cars like they had the intention to be built for europe. these cars are obviously built for the north american market. he kept talking about places these cars wouldnt work and why they wouldnt work.

WELL OBVIOUSLY! they are cars built for us! we HAVE cheaper gas than you, we HAVE wider roads, we HAVE people that will buy them. i just think his bitching and complaining got annoying and kind of took away from the entire thing. although, like any top gear show, well put together and entertaining. worth the download to see all these cars haul major ass.

The DVD is aimed at the Europeans, to show what's out there, and why the vast majority of it is not imported yet.

So yeah to watch it from an Americans POV is going to be pretty shit, aside from footage of cars getting a good seeing to like you said.
