Games that have a stoyline, a virtual online world, real online community with real people and themed after human interaction/sexaulity. You use the wiimote to control the character's movement and the uh, motion in the ocean. Online multiplayer would be crazy(stop and think about it). Think Nintendo will ever break out the kiddy image and step up towards adult men and women?

Simulate sex with the Wii? Is that what you're asking? What the fuck?

...cause I would want nothing more then to virtually stroke a wiimote to simulate jacking off.

Redsteel is not a kids game.

Redsteel is not a kids game.

In some ways I can agree with this, but come on, theres no blood or gore.

theres no blood or gore.

I'm sorry, i really don't understand this.

A game needs blood and gore to be adult-oriented?

I've said it before, and i'll say it again: I think games like GTA are more immature than others, as are the people that play them.

EDIT: Not that i don't ;) Dead Rising amused the hell out of me. I just don't think they're particularly mature

Weister42,

Are you a pederast?

I had to look up the dictionary for that word...and no.

I was talking about something like the Sims except you interact with real people, with the wiimote.

Actually, the latest Zelda doesn't seem kiddy at all and yet it doesn't have blood.

As for the rest:
Red Steel
Metroid Prime 3
HammerHead
Day of Crisis
Resident Evil Wii

Are among the more mature content. But it isn't all about blood and gore.

Blood and gore... pff. Mature? One of the most retarded thoughts ever. People don't realize, we already see blood and gore every day. When you really consider the concept behind ground beef, it's fairly disturbing.

It's not the blood and gore that has a psychological impact on someone. It's the way various things are utilized. You could have an extremely viceral and disturbing scene that doesn't involve a single drop of blood. The stronger the psychological aspect, the more disturbing the scene is.

The rating system is simply a bunch of people's opinions. Sure, they base it on a set of rules, but should Unreal Tournament 2k4 be considered more "mature" than some of the ww2 games out there? UT2k4 might have the red pixels on your screen, but the death sequences in Goldeneye (the 64 game) were definitely more disturbing, watching someone clutch their throat in pain trying to stem the flow of the blood that isn't there. If you ask me, Goldeneye would deserve the M rating more than UT 2k4 would.

It wasn't really... People were talking about what makes a mature game.

If an immature person is overwhelmed by it, it's probably mature.

Well, no. That's completely wrong. Hell, immature people are overwhelmed with R-rated movies.

I'm sorry, I was led to believe that the Wii has only been out for a month. But apparently that month was enough to question whether or not Wii will ever get some "mature" games.

As if Call of Duty, Far Cry, Prince of Persia, Red Steel, The Godfather, and Mortal Kombat: Armaggeddon aren't mature enough.

I'm pretty sure Smash Brothers will be considered mature, look at all the cute little animals you have to kick the shit out of.
