Connect them together via network cables or wireless network. Send the files.
From past experience doing this it can take anywhere from an hour to a day.

he isnt going from computer to computer, hes going from ipod to new computer.
anyways, download itunes, then plug your ipod into the new computer and import.
easy.

Oh, well than just get itunes and copy all the files from your ipod to the new comp.
I misread it thinking it said comp - comp.

Google a program called sharepod. You put it onto your iPod, enable your iPod for disk use, take it over to the new comp, and run the program Sharepod to get songs from the iPod to the computer.

Well, since your iPod transfer doesn't work, you can transport files from PC to PC with a Cat5 (http://www.amazon.com/Belkin-CABLE-UTP-4PR-SNAGLESS-A3L791-04-YLW-S/dp/B00006HUKA/sr=1-8/qid=1167460740/ref=sr_1_8/102-7946322-5622556?ie=UTF8&s=electronics) cable.
Connect the two computers by placing the Cat5 cable into each PC's ethernet port.
Find the folder you would like to transfer, right-click, and select "Sharing and Security...". Check "Share this folder on the network".
On the computer your transferring files from, go to Start > Run and type "cmd". In Command Prompt, type "ipconfig" and press enter. Note the computer's IP address.
On the computer that you want to transfer the files to, go to Start > Run. and type "//Other Computers IP address/" and press enter. For example, if the other PC's IP address was 192.168.1.101, then you would type in "//192.168.1.101/".
You may think that buying the cable isn't worth it, but it's always handy to have around, especially when you get a new computer and want to transfer a lot of files.
