I do agree, 93 seconds doesn't seem like a credible score. Show me a movie, then I'll believe it. I'd be suprised to see any scores over a minute. Right now, I'm at like 26 seconds.

I got over a minute on my first try, and thought it was really easy until I played it on my friends computer, it turns out my computer is just so old and sucky, that it runs really slow and makes it extreamly easy, same reason I got over 9000 on helicopter. i played this while running a screen recorder and it slowed the game down quite dramatically. I got a score of about 74 seconds, but without the screen recorder running i can barely get a score of 22 seconds. So all these people getting such high scores just probably have really old computers that run the game very slowly.

We're talking about the game Escape are we not? I don't know how a slow computer would affect the helicopter game, I haven't tried it, but it sure makes it easier to get better scores on the escape game. I guess the timer still runs at the same speed, but the game runs slower.

Depending on whether or not you have a slower computer or a faster will dictate how hard this game is. At work I have a very slow comp. I got 52 seconds there on a screeen shot. At home I can't even go 18 seconds without things going so damn fast. Sorry if this has been mentioned before in this post.

Find the safe spot in the upper left after the first block leaves the upper left area. It stays clear for about 7 seconds or so. Then turn your computer clock forward. My high without cheating is 32.

On helicopter the slowness helped me because it gave me a lot more time to decide wheither to go up or down, and it was alot easier to time things

Your net connection will determine how fast the game will load... but once loaded, your computer hardware runs the game. An older computer with a slower processor will run the game slower than a newer computer;
500Mhz Processor computer with Cable Internet connection will run the game slow.
3Ghz Processor computer with 56k Internet connection will run the game fast.

I could go as long as I want...see, ZoneAlarm pro blocks a lot of moving .gifs and flash animations. For me, the cubes move just a bit, and stop completely. So, I could just sit there as long as I want without the cubes moving and get as high a score as I want.

the game isn't animated gif's or flash, its all javascript, i lookaed at the code. and whoever coded this must have spent a hell of a long time coding this and be very good at writing javascript.

just so everyone knows, its not necessarily your computer, it could be the internet system your using. Using Opera or Internet Explorer the game runs fine for me, but try it on firefox and for some reason the blocks stall very often.
the stalls don't count as time, but you can move your block and position it out of the way with the split second you have free
