Problem with Windows Media Player

I just recently reformatted my hard drive, and had to reinstall almost everything. I installed the new windows media player 11, and it works fine. But when I watch a video from a website, the video plays in what looks like media player 5. Anyone know how to update the plug in?

I'm not sure. Why not try realplayer? it's the shiznit. try to go to download.com and see if you can find something useful there.
