Good idea for a thread. There's lots of albums that I've wanted but haven't been able to find. I'll make a list when I think of some later.

god damn black metal is so gay i don't even bother buying the cd's anymore.
"limited to 66 copies" thank god for soulseek
The only really hard-to-find stuff I listen to is some Jazz and, on occassion, some metal. BUT, for the metal, I just go to the greatest CD store on Earth "Slipped Disc". It's about 20 minutes from my house and I garuntee it has any fuckin metal or rock CD you can think of. Seriously, from the obscure underground shit you can't find anywhere, to common popular metal and rock, they have it all.
For the jazz, I can usually find it online somewhere, but I usually have to do some digging. I have online friends from other forums who I trade with pretty frequently, so I actually have a network of people ranging from right here on Long Island to fuckin Australia who would (and have in the past) helped me out a LOT in finding rare/obscure music.
Ron Eschete- The Beatles Instrumental Jazz
I never heard of this, but if it is what it sounds like (instrumental jazz versions of Beatles songs) then I really fuckin want it! Thanks for posting that, I have a new CD to track down.
edit--- I found it on Amazon, but it's out of stock. I'm betting if you go to Barnes & Noble or something like that, you'd be able to special order it.

Yes obscure jazz albums can be a bitch to find. Most torrent websites rarely have a lot of jazz (still waiting for my invite to Oink).
I just realised that in my last post, I didn't actually name any albums. So let me do so now:
Anything by these 2 artists is fucking impossible to find in stores.
The Matt Savage Trio:
Now 14 years old, this autistic savant is one of the best jazz pianists on Earth. He's been playing and recording music since the age of 8 (and was brilliant even back then) and since then has had the honor of playing with living legends like Chick Corea. He just release his newest album entitled "Quantum Leap" which, according to reviews, is very much a breakthrough for him and showcases his maturing style and talent.
If you never heard of him, and most people have not, check him out at www.savagerecords.com, they have plenty of audio & video samples to check out. Any fan of jazz (or just pure fucking talent) will appreciate that. I've heard his earlier work, when he was under the age of 10, and even that was incredible. But I just ordered his 2 most recent CD's from Amazon about 20 minutes ago and I'm already getting impatient. If the reviews hold ANY credibility at all, the new one's going to be incredible.
I also plan on seeing him live in Manhattan on February 5th.
Attention Deficit:
I learned of this super-group almost a year ago, but until 3 days ago never heard any of their shit. The band is comprised of Alex Skolnick (of Testament & The Trans-Siberian Orchestra) on guitar, Tim Alexander (of Primus) on drums, and Michael Manring on bass (who's solo CD's will blow you face out the back of your head). I got their second CD "The Idiot King" (they only made 2 albums, the first being self-titled). The album is awesome, but sometimes it feels like I'm listening to Dream Theater or something; as in it's an unbelievable display of virtuosic talent from all musicians involved, but sometimes it gets kinda boring. It doesn't have that flow and soul that I look for in music. It's very avant-gard. It really is great, but it's not the kind of CD that I'm gonna wear out in a few months. Check em out anyway, they kick ass.

I found these albums on http://albumbase.com (I searched for everyone above my post). I didn't check the links though, so they might be dead, but you can go ahead and try them.
Also, there were two Beatles Jazz albums, although not the specific one you requested.

Ozzy's Ultimate Sin & Speak of the Devil- both now deleted for retarded reasons.
Actually, his complete solo discography (original recordings) are not on sale, since the bass & drums were re-recorded in 2002 because of royalty disputes.
No prizes for guessing it was Sharon Shitborne who was responsible.
Thankfully, i own previous issues of the CD's.
^That's fucked up, I didn't know about that (probably since I already own most of his solo shit that I bought years ago and therefore haven't bought an Ozzy CD in years).
