Are the Videos featured from emse?

I haven't seen a video from emuse featured yet. Are they even eligible?

Everything that makes it to the front page of eBaum's is chosen by our content/editorial staff. So it's really a mix of everything... eMuse will definitely help us gauge if something is popular, but view counts alone will not qualify something for frontpage.

If a video uploaded to emuse is seleted for the front page will the uploader get any cash from it?

I like the overall idea of emuse, but i dont think it will be that successful. Mainly because lots of other sites let you upload videos. If someone wants to upload a video they will prob use youtube or metacafe - it its gore they will use liveleak and for xrated theres xtube. Ebaums may be good for humour but i cant see it happening. Also the quality of the videos on ebaums isn't very good compared to other sites. I'm not sure on how many people vist emuse but i have only been on there 3-4 times. compared to 1000's times on other sites.

I do like the comment boxes under videos on the main page thought :)

emuse will flop. A poor attempt at youtube. But why change something if it works.

its the last wave of arms as ebaums drowns in its own crap advertising whirlpool.

The development of eMuse has simply been in response to the feedback of our users who have requested the features and functionality that it offers. We don't feel its fair to compare it to the sites you mention because its actually very different on many levels. And remember, we're still in Beta, we're currently working on a bunch of stuff, most importantly, integrating it into the rest of the site a lot tighter, so the experience will be much more seamless.

And DJ, trust me, we are nowhere near our "last wave of arms", sorry to disappoint you.
