That's at least how I want the 2007 season to turn out, the Indians already have solid offense and they really are improving their pitching this offseason.

The Reds will go 162-0 and will sweep every team in the playoffs en route to a World Series.

AL East: Red Sox (rotation is just to good)
AL Central: Tigers (more experince)
AL West: Oakland (still the best in the division)
Wild Card: Yankees (can't be the playoffs without the bombers)
NL East: Phillies (Great offense, rotation is not mind blowing; but probably the most solid)
NL Central: Cubs (Good offense, upgrades should payoff)
NL West: Dodgers (Great rotation)
Wildcard: Mets (starting pitching staff looks like crap, but the offense and solid bullpen will get them in)

No one is even considering the Jays.
The Jays will win it all this year the offense is jsut too good
average/HR/RBI/SB
Johnson .319/12/49/8 (mr. .450+ OBP)
Rios .302/17/82/15 ( and he was out for a month)
Wells .303/32/106/17 ( and they will have to pitch to him this year)
Thomas .270/39/114/0 (and he was walked 81 times... not this year)
Glaus .252/38/104/3 (OMG another HR guy? UGH! says thepitcher)
Overbay .312/22/92/5 (I think im going to just give up now)
Clayton .258/2/40/14 (nice I just have to worry about this guy stealin
Hill .291/6/50/5 (hit way over .300 the 2nd half)
Team .288/168/637/67 the HR and RBI will go up this year just because you cant pitch around anyone in this line up. maybe overbay will ahve a career year in walks :O
Pitching
Doc
A.J
Chacin
Ohka
ANYONE else
Its jsut ridicuous! Ohka is gonna have a crazy year. bargin of the season!
Ryan will shut the door everytime.. yes everytime :| cause he wont be used as much cause the jays will be winning by like 5 runs every night
ever see a 20 game winn with a 5 ERA? we might see one here!
Chacin is known to pitch just good enough to win.
what about the pen?
League and Arrardo will be amazing this year. Frasor will get his pitch back, Tallet will struggle a little but after he comes back up from the minors he will do well. Adams will be used as trad bait to get a more sutible SS come trade deadline. Id put the pitching stats up but I jsut got lazy. haha
well the jays will win. believe me or not, whether its Doc seeking out a 2-1 victory or chacin winning 19-17, The jays ahve all the toodl this year to win it all.

ohka is a joke - i'm a huge brewers fan so i've seen him pitch about 10-12 times and only have seen 2 alright outings. the last time i saw him in person he did more at the plate than on the mound which is pathetic considering he batted around .150.
in addition, the cubbies blow - it'll be good to see them shell out 300 million and still be below .500 this year

NL CHAMPIONSHIP - NY METS 4 / DODGERS - 2
WORLD SERIES 2008
DETROIT 4 / NY METS 2
The Cubs will be the surprise team of 2008, although failing to make the Playoffs, they will post the near record turn-around that Detroit did in 2006. The Cubs will be poised to make the run in 2008.
The Detroit Tigers will run the gamet in the American League, not quite posting the 35-5 record of 1984 that set the standard for modern day run offs from Opening Day, but they will lead wire to wire (this time without falling victim to their own stupidity on the final weekend of the season), and move away from the rest of the League.
For the next five seasons, the AL will come down to the Tigers and Yankees facing each other in the Post Season for the AL Championship. Both teams are loaded with young and up coming talent (especially pitching), and will make a mockery of the rest of the AL.

I predict that Adam Dunn will set the all time record for home runs and strikeouts for this year.
I usually try to go to one Reds-Cubs game at Cincy every year, and I always try to sit behind third base, so I can give ol' Dunn a "Go Bats" chant.
I remember when he played for the Louisville Bats; he was awesome.

Hey buddy, we respect your opinions and we want you to be a contributing member here, so remember that double-posting is against the rules (use the 'edit' button).
And I could very well see the A's winning it all; In fact I would like to see them win it all.

By the way, I was going through one of the books my Uncle Bill left me when he died. In this case it was the Associated Press Pictorial History of Baseball, published 1989.
As obsolete as it may be this day in age, it has some great photos in it. I'll try to scan some in on Monday and share. Baseball kicks ass because of it's prestigious history and tradition and the photos in this book show that.

Yeah I was thinking about the Phillies in NL East. But I'm not sure on their pitching though. Oh yes Ortiz has to be MVP this season. He has to get like 150 rbi's though lol. Because of the whole you know he isn't a fielder thing that comes up every time.

i think indians will be contenders for sure, only i dont acre what we are ranked, last year we were ranked 1 going into the season, too much pressure losing those key bullpen guys along with a shift in LF and not fixing otehr mistakes, we'll be back this year
