By far the goriest movie I have ever seen, and I have seen them all... Crazy shit, the whole way through.

Anyone else seen it?

Yeah I saw it but I was disappointed. I was really looking forward to the movie, but it just didn't seem creepy at all. Never really scared me, and the gore wasn't anything spectacular. Oh well, I didn't completely hate it, but I wouldn't classify it as "good"... it was fairly entertaining though.

I agree with you on everything except the gore part, name one movie that has better gore then that?! Looked real as hell as well.

I haven't seen it, but I hated the first remake (with Jessica Beil) and wasn't planning on seeing this one. My brother saw it and said it was OK, but as a diehard fan of the original I'm very skeptical about it.

Check out Hostel, Dead Alive, High Tension, Saw, See No Evil, and a handful of other movies. It's not that gory. They could have gone a lot further with it.

And I actually like the TCM 2000 or whatever. Yeah yeah, "I suck".

I haven't seen the movie, but how would you know if it was realistic? It would seem to me that if you had such experiences then you would be somewhat desensitized to movies.

The movie looked like shit to me and the first one they did was shit.

I dont really want to start a new thread over High Tension, I just recently saw it and wanted to say it, mostly for my own benefit.

What the fuck was with that ending? Honestly, a lot of people say things like "The ending ruined the movie" to a lot of different movies, and that is rarely the case. Like the ending can sometimes make the movie worse, but it hardly ever actually ruins the movie. But this movie, holy fuck. Completely ruined everything for me. While watching it, I was enjoying it. It wasnt an amazing movie, but it was pretty good, pretty cool. And it had a killer who was killing for what seemed like no reason, which I love. I get sick of those killers with deep, emotional motives. He was just a sick fuck, and I liked it. While watching it, I was looking forward to watching it again with some friends.

Then the ending... I was so fucking pissed. Its like the writer didnt even try to make sense. I had never seen a movie end with such huge fucking plot holes. Huge. Most movies have semi-plot holes, but then can be explained. Like Signs, people pick out plot holes in signs, but I can make a reasonable explanation for just about any plot hole people come up with. But this movie, nothing can explain how completly retarded half of these things were. The plot holes were big enough to drive a truck through, in the most literal sense of that phrase, and if youve seen the movie you know what I meant. And they had to end it giving the killer some deeper motivation. Why cant the killer every just be a pyscho? They always have to add some stupid fucked up thing like he had a tormented childhood, hes doing it out of revenge, hes not really doing it at all, he is being commanded by a higher power, something stupid. Michael Myers was a lil kid, he picked up a knife and killed his sister. Why? Nobody fucking knows. He is evil personified, thats all we know, and it made for one of the best horror films of all time. You think film makers would have picked up on that...

Before that ending, I would have watched the movie a second time that week. After that ending, I will never watch it again, unless to show people how fucking stupid it is.
